About this deal

The 6SE comes with a single eyepiece – a 25mm E-Lux Plossl providing 60x. It’s a good starter eyepiece for low magnification, but as with any telescope, you’ll want at least a few extra eyepieces to provide a range of magnification options. With any technology that is driven by software or other programs, there is the potential for glitches. This system is no different. When it is all working correctly, the experience is nothing short of magical, but there have been some hang-ups. Binoculars Vortex Binoculars Canon Binoculars Swarovski Binoculars Hawke Binoculars Celestron Binoculars Nikon Binoculars Steiner Binoculars Zeiss Binoculars Binocular Accessories Dew is a nightmare, well not these days because you can buy the heated dew ring and of course use the dew shield that makes the tube shake with just a little breeze, so buy a refractor.

I "think" at this point I understand well what is needed to create the image train when using the f/6.3 focal reducer (getting to the 105mm spacing). Celestron’s signature orange-tube telescope combines advanced features and excellent optics in one easy-to-use system, the NexStar 8SE. It’s the perfect choice for your first serious telescope, offering impressive views at an economical price. With the NexStar you just used the handy dial and type in the celestial body you want to observe (from 40,000 objects in the database!)

If you want to go even bigger than the Celestron NexStar 6SE’s 6-inch aperture, the most cost-effective way is to go for a Dobsonian design like the Celestron StarSense Explorer, which comes in 8-inch and 10-inch variants. It’s a completely manual telescope but comes with Celestron’s much more modern StarSense technology, which uses an app as a guide but requires a smartphone to be perched on an attached holder. For example, you will be able to see the individual arms of a distant spiral galaxy or the vibrant colors of a nebula. The reason for this may be because the focal angle is narrower than some other reflectors. This will bring these individual objects more into focus than a telescope with a lower focal ratio. At Rother Valley Optics, one thing we pride ourselves on is customer service and quality of our equipment. When we test your telescope, we will ensure that it is of the highest quality otherwise, we will reject the scope under our strict quality control and test another model for your peace of mind. One of the main values to look at when testing a refractor is the Strehl ratio. The higher this number, the higher quality lens you have. At Rother Valley Optics, we will guarantee the highest possible Strehl ratio for your telescope. We will aim to provide 0.95 Strehl or higher on Takahashi, RVO Horizon, William Optics and many more! Generally, the higher the Strehl ratio, the lower the Astigmatism and Coma meaning a better image quality from your instrument. I got my first camera - asi120mc-s which I love and still have. This camera is a lot of fun for planets and the moon. If you get a sun film you can also do the sun. Haven't done that yet.
