The unique 1:0.8 ratio of maltodextrin to fructose increases the percentage of ingested carbohydrate that is oxidised from 62% to 74% when compared to a more standard ratio of 2:1. This, specially formulated, ratio also reduces the self-reported symptoms of stomach fullness, especially when compared to a 2:1 ratio. Turbo + is menthol flavoured for a cooling effect making it suitable for hot environments. However, it is overall a great energy source and shouldn’t just be used in hot environments.
