About this deal

At 260g, it’s a decent sized egg for the price, particularly as it comes with 100g of mini dark chocolate eggs too. Moo Free is the perfect vegan chocolate brand for kids. Its adorable characters and bite-size vegan bars make it easy for parents to give their children a chocolate treat without dairy. To begin with I wondered if they were hiding inside the hen, but they’re actually incorporated into the chocolate shell to give a really interesting texture. It’s 70% dark milk chocolate, so has all the intensity and rich flavouring that you expect from 70% chocolate, but isn’t quite as bitter, which is where the ‘dark milk’ comes in. Although the dark chocolate on its own might usually be a little too intense for kids, when it’s teamed with the marshmallows the sweet, sugary marshmallow takes the edge off the cocoa in the most perfect balance. They’re really good marshmallows too.

The chocolate itself is perfectly tempered with a great snap, and the flavour is sublime. Made with 70% cacao Peruvian dark chocolate, it’s incredibly rich and fruity with a bitterness that allows the cocoa flavour to be the star of the show.Looking for this year's best Easter eggs? You've come to the right place. If you have someone in your life that says Easter eggs are ‘just for kids’, we recommend cutting them out immediately. While it is true that the Easter Bunny rudely only chooses to visit the younger half of the population, grown-ups can still get their chocolate fix by snapping up an Easter egg for themselves.

What: If you’re going for the creme de la creme Easter Egg this year, you can’t go wrong with Ducasse. The master chef has turned his hand to chocolate in recent years and it’s unsurprisingly brilliant, taking single origin cacao from bear to bar then fashioning it into pleasing geometric shapes, designed by French designer Pierre Tachon. What: Chocolate orange fans, this one's for you - Selfridges’ egg mixes single origin dark chocolate with zesty orange chocolate, and it looks pretty smart too. There are two other delicious flavours available too - a praline and a tasty malted blonde version. What: Brand new this year, Dorset chocolatiers Chococo have a quality vegan Easter egg on offer too, made using oat milk and 43% Colombia origin chocolate. Chococo eggs are always beautifully finished as well, making this a lovely gift for a vegan pal, if you can manage not to eat it before you give it away. Gluten-free: Yes but it may contain trace amounts as it is not manufactured in a dedicated gluten facility Although these aren’t technically Easter eggs, the new Rabbit collection from PLAYin Choc is a special release for Easter, and they do make a very appealing treat for both children and young-at-heart adults.Cookie dough is one of my favourite flavours and the adorable NOMO bunny included in this egg really delivers on this. It was hard to believe that it was gluten-free, it gave such a rich, biscuity flavour! verifyErrors }}{{ message }}{{ /verifyErrors }}{{ What: A dark chocolate lover's dream, this seriously decadent egg is made from 70% cocoa, and comes filled with high-cacao pralines, caramels, simple truffles and plenty of other chocolatey treats.

The chocolate contains just four ingredients – cacao solids, coconut sugar, creamed coconut and vanilla pods – but those ingredients combine to create a really interesting flavour combo.

12. Chocolate Orange Brownies

This egg is genuinely stunning, the unique out casing is hand-painted in India, and each flavour has its own distinct floral design. Inside, the egg is lined with fabric and filled with Booja Booja’s legendary organic vegan truffles.
