About this deal

Pollen, dust mites and pet hair are all common airborne allergens, and recent trends indicate that more and more of us are becoming sensitive to what’s in the air around us. We’ll certainly continue to use it on a daily basis; it’s a really useful tool for managing our allergies all year round. Set the Sleep Mode to start silent but high air cleaning purification up to 8 times a night: you will never be disturbed while sleeping and you will always breathe clean air both day and night. PM stands for Particulate Matter but can also be known as particle pollution. It consists of tiny particles such as soot, dust, dirt, or smoke which are large enough to be seen by the naked eye, but some are so small they can only be seen by an electronic microscope. PM10 measures particles that are 10 micrometers or smaller and PM 2.5 are particles 2.5 micrometers or smaller.

The Hoover H-Purifier 300 is no ordinary air purifier, it completes a myriad of tasks that leave homes feeling and smelling great. It’s a breath of fresh air and it costs less than the Dyson cool air. Enhance your air purification experience with the hOn App. Through the app, you will access a world of useful functions: remote control of purifying modes and settings and scheduling programs. Plus, the hOn App allows gathering internal and external air data, giving real-time monitoring information about internal and external pollution, humidity and temperature. In terms of what to expect on the noise front then, if you’re running it at the standard mode, then Hoover’s official figures are 50dBA. Move it into the Sleep mode though and this goes down to 21dBA, which isn’t bad at all if you’re going to need to keep the unit running at night. The Hoover H-Purifier 300 uses a multi sensor system with a 3 layered HEPA filter to help manage the air in your home. With a combination of smart sensors, a powerful fan and uniquely designed filtration system the H-purifier automatically cleans the air of any room in your home up to 100 meters square. That’s huge! It can easily purify the air of a 20 meter square room in just 10 minutes. The 3 layer filter is said to purify 99.97% of allergens such as dust, pet hairs and bacteria. You can also switch to Max mode for a powerful boost. This is a really useful function when allergy symptoms are bad and you need to create a neutral environment fast. We also use it in our kitchen diner to deal with cooking smells; it came in very handy when we had a major burnt toast incident! Sleep ModeYou’re more likely to know Acer for its PCs, laptops or monitors, but its foray into air purifiers shows a lot of promise. The Pro P2 is a mid-sized tower – just under 58cm tall – with the top accommodating the fan’s grille, the minimal controls, and a 1.5in square OLED colour screen. The latter gives you the current PM2.5 reading, plus an at-a-glance air quality indicator, with the text turning from green through amber to magenta as it worsens. This is one of those rare dual-function appliances that’s effective at both, and if the only downside is that it’s a bit weird looking, then that’s not exactly hard to live with. Throw in smart features, a good remote, and fairly frugal power consumption, and it’s a great addition to your living room or bedroom. Even without all the smart stuff, this is an easy purifier to use. Clear indicators show the current mode and power setting, while a central ring glows blue through to red, depending on the current air quality readings. You can pretty much leave it on the Automatic setting and let it do its thing. It can get a little noisy at its highest speeds, peaking at 52.7dB in Turbo mode, but we measured a very reasonable 28dB in Sleep mode. The Wi-Fi setup is straightforward enough if you’ve ever done the same thing with other wireless-enabled appliances in your home. The unit has three different settings to choose from with an Auto option that essentially removes the need for any real setup as such. This sets the fan speed for you, based on the air quality the appliance has detected. I’ve been testing the Hoover H-Purifier now for about a week and happy to say that it has delivered what it is designed to do. Our air is cleaner, less smelly and we have peace of mind that our son’s allergies aren’t going to be a problem again in our home. What do I love about the Hoover H-Purifier 300?

What about a carry handle? These are handy if you need to move it from room to room. Wheels, a compact design and a low weight won’t go amiss here, either. The H-Purifier 300 also monitors the air for Carbon Monoxide – this is a nice add-on feature that I wasn’t really expecting from an air purifier. If all is well, the CO Alert LED is green. If it detects CO2, an alarm sounds and the CO Alert button and LED ring flash red. For peace of mind, you can test it’s working by pressing and holding the button for three seconds. Portability We adore this Hoover 300 air purifier for all of the reasons listed above and highly recommend it if you’re looking for one to purify your home. REVIEW OVERVIEWA set of intelligent sensors always detects and monitor the indoor air quality. You can be sure that the air your home is clean. Filter replacement indicators aren’t crucial and not all air purifiers have them, but this is a helpful feature as a clogged air cleaner won’t work properly.

The Hoover 300 HHP30C Smart Air Purifier distributes purified air continuously and evenly in every direction, so that you can breathe freely everywhere. As you’d expect from something carrying the Hoover logo, this appliance seems to be pretty good at purifying air, based on our experience with it over a few weeks. It’s also very capable at covering sizeable areas too, with suitability for rooms up to 100m2, which will suit most household needs we think.
