About this deal

I’m confident that even the true novice will be using the Minelab Vanquish 440 effectively in no time. Minelab engineers have thought this through in detail and gave us a product that will put smiles on many faces. Probably the most exciting feature of the Vanquish Series, which puts it way ahead of others in its price range (and above),

When you open a box with Minelab Vanquish 540 metal detector, among others, you will see 4 NiMh batteries with a charging device for them. Since this is a metal detector of the beginner level, cheaper batteries are used. Other Minelab metal detectors – Equinox, CTX use Li-ion batteries. What really sets the Vanquish 440 apart from other entry level metal detectors is the Multi-IQ technology. The Equinox 600 and 800 have the same Multi-IQ technology, but at a hugely increased price. The Simplex+ is a great model too, but only has a single frequency. Despite that, it has proven itself in multiple terrains, including on beaches. Keep in mind it will have more ground noise coming through than the Vanquish or Equinox series because it can only operate at one frequency and can only shift slightly to compensate for interference. Proč Multi-IQ? Protože díky revoluční technologii Multi-IQ máte kombinovanou sílu více detektorů v jednom - všechny pracovní frekvence detektoru běží současně. Přitom nic nenastavujete, prostě detektor zapnete a jdete. Detektor kovů MINELAB VANQUISH 440 je určen pro začátečníky a mírně pokročilé hledače, kteří hledají jednoduché ovládání, maximální výkon a přesnost. Proto je VANQUISH 440 standardně vybaven technologií Multi-IQ, vodotěsnou cívkou V10 a ovládáním hlasitosti. This model has 12 discrimination segments, so you can customize it to work in all terrains and all soil types. It features 19 channel automatic noise cancelling, 3 target tones, lag-free audio, and 10 volume adjustments. This model is lightweight, at just 2.6 pounds, and comes standard with Minelab’s V10 10” by 7” Double-D waterproof search coil. It should be noted that the control box is weatherproof, not waterproof, so it should not be submerged in water. Take caution when hunting near water or you risk ruining the metal detector. I see that Minelab and … Nokta got the idea. Right, this is Nokta Simplex that I consider as a main rival to these devices. Especially, for beach hunting fans. There is no need to learn the complexities of various settings, the hard work has been done for you. Turn on, select a mode, detect. Features Reverse the Arm Cup for storage and transport. Detect Modes The 340 is still a great option for those on a stricter budget. Both the Vanquish series and Equinox series have higher Target ID accuracy at maximum depth and faster recovery speed, making them a true contender in the metal detecting world. Although fully clear and functional, the Vanquish headphones are not the most comfortable I’ve ever had on my head. The ear pads are soft and they are very comfortable but the head piece is fairly wide (ear to ear) and stiff with no soft padding. Also, I found the headphone cable thin and so long as to get tangled around the control box and cover at times. I would be using an after-market set of headphones with a 1/8” connection. However, I’m a big fan of wireless headphones and Minelab has again provided that convenient option with the Vanquish 540 series.

Let me also mention that Vanquish 440 is the best when you need to detect small-sized targets, including small shots. Also, it detects small coins at quite sufficient depth (like Equinox). The very first thing to understand about Vanquish detectors is that this series was created for beginner level hunters. Yeah, the machines are equipped with multi-frequency technology, because Minelab made them cool, but they are still targeted at newbies.

So, let’s take a closer look at Vanquish. Here we’ll deal with a metal detector pretty similar to Minelab Equinox, but with sufficiently decreased functionality. Water resistant vs waterproof. The Vanquish 440 control box is weather/water resistant but the coil is waterproof. To my way of thinking, all detectors should be fully waterproof if not weatherproof. Why? Ours is an outdoor hobby and even if you’re not a water hunter, a heavy rain could do a detector in if it isn’t waterproof, but that’s just the view from my foxhole. The Vanquish does come with a nice control box cover so Minelab has taken the possible pop-up shower into consideration. You’ll be a bit crazy professional. Since, I personally, won’t be able to dig having 5 discrimination segments in my device… Noise cancel

For example, this model currently does not have a warranty. Perhaps info about warranty will be available later, and the expected term is 2 years warranty. But we’ll see. I was impressed enough that the Minelab Vanquish 440 will immediately become my 10-year-old granddaughter’s new machine! The company designed a new shaft for its new metal detectors product line, as it was done for Minelab Go-Find. However, unlike that model, this one has a sectional shaft and it’s not that small sized. The Vanquish 440 comes with 5 Find Modes: Coin, Relic, Jewelry, All Metal and Custom. Each mode is pre-programmed and fully optimized to allow users the best performance. The Vanquish 440 works well in parks, fields, mountains, rivers/streams, yards, gold prospecting, and even beach environments. More than that, the real intelligence of the system is that the Multi-IQ processing will collate and compare the signals from all operating frequencies,

The Vanquish line of metal detectors is one of Minelab’s newest products. It consists of the following detectors: the Minelab Vanquish 340, Minelab Vanquish 440, and Minelab Vanquish 540. Minelab’s Vanquish 440 is a great entry-level metal detector with some features that are not often found on beginner metal detectors. It comes standard with Minelab’s patented Multi-IQ technology. Multi-IQ is a multiple frequency technology that allows the metal detector to operate on multiple frequencies simultaneously. To start with, let’s define what kind of product line is that? Well, things are quite simple here. Minelab has a product line of metal detector for beginners called Minelab Go-Find. It turned out to be not very successful one. It hasn’t been in demand from the very beginning and, moreover, nowadays it has become outdated. Metal detector models 340 and 440 require 4 AA batteries as a power supply, while model 540 has battery accumulators included as well as a charging device for them. Minelab has been an industry leader in manufacturing metal detectors for nearly 4 decades. They make metal detectors that are built to combat the most difficult soil conditions. Their metal detectors are all built to the highest military standards and are trusted by military units all over the globe. The 440 features Multi-IQ technology (more on this in the next section), a waterproof V10 search coil, audio control, and pinpoint mode. This simple to use, lightweight, compact metal detector works well in all terrains and for all metals. This is an all-purpose machine with great features, a compact design, and simple functionality at a fantastic price. While designed with beginner metal detectorists in mind, the Vanquish 440 has enough features to make even an intermediate detectorist happy. analasing the similarities and differences between them to get a clearer picture of what's really down there.
