super fun tropes but doesn’t rely too heavily on them— fake-dating, childhood best friends to lovers, forced proximity, mutual pining... “practice” kissing. it was adorable. I have to confess the forced proximity trope, and especially the accidental pregnancy trope, are not my favorite at all. Except when done right, and this was superb writing. I got all the feelings. I wanted to push them together and tell them that sometimes you just grab what you're given. Especially when it's right there in front of you, and it's been there for a very long time. This is the third book featuring the kids of the original set of characters from Cloverleigh Farms and Bellamy Creek; and I have loved every single one so much that I never want this series to end! And let’s not forget all of the delicious covers that Melanie’s been using for these books, it’s impossible to not want to read them all! Melanie attended Miami Ohio and got a degree in American Studies. She finds that she loved every moment of it, and that she should read deeper into any sort of story, whether it was the story of a place, a person, or a historical event.
