About this deal

Malcolm says, "A UV steriliser uses a special type of light UV-C to sterilise baby feeding equipment in place of other methods of conventional sterilisation, i.e. Hot steam or cold-water sterilisation using chemicals. Press this button once for 30 minutes drying, twice for 40 minutes drying and three times for 50 minutes.

What is the capacity of the Vital Baby Nurture Advanced Pro UV Steriliser and Dryer and how many bottles can it hold? An alert sounds when you press any of the buttons and when you open or close the door. You can turn off the sound on the buttons but not when you open or close the door. Storage: So you can keep your feeding essentials inside a clean environment until you’re ready to use them. You can even open the door and remove items then choose the storage program again to keep everything sanitized. This mode emits 5 minutes of UV light and 5 minutes of drying power every 2 hours to keep contents sterile. The UV light also helps our glow in the dark products such as the night-time breast-like soother glow for longer.Maria: For me, the size and the removable shelves are a great feature. As a mum who combi-feeds, I have plenty of bottles and breastmilk expressing equipment which need sterilising often multiple times a day. Whilst the unit can look large on your counter, the good news is that it’s a stylish design and crucially large enough to ensure you can sterilise multiple bottles and expressing equipment at once. From my research, other units appear to be smaller or don’t offer the same level of flexibility offered by the shelves allowing you to maximise the space available. I definitely think this product is a winner, life would be much harder without it. Christine: I would definitely recommend this product to my other mum friends and colleagues. The product looks good sitting on your kitchen worktop, it's easy to use and makes life very easy knowing you’ve always got a clean sterilised bottle in there ready to go. It would also be easy to explain to someone else to use if you had grandparents/babysitters. Would you choose the Tommee Tippee Ultra above all others on the market? If you wish to leave the products inside the sterilizer you can use the storage mode which will keep them sterile. verifyErrors }}{{ message }}{{ /verifyErrors }}{{

Wash items you want to sterilize in warm soapy water, rinse and drain before placing in the sterilizer. Don’t put dripping wet items into the sterilizer, as water can gather at the base. If there is water at the base or leaking from the sterilizer, please turn off the machine and wipe away water. Plug into the power, press the on/off button then select the function you wish to use – sterilise only, dry only, auto sterilise and dry or storage function. Hollie: It saves me time because I previously used a steam steriliser and with this one there's no need to add water or descale the steriliser which I needed to do really often because the water is hard where I live. I can now sterilise all of my breast pump parts with this product because the UV doesn't damage the materials unlike my previous steam steriliser. There's also no risk of burning myself with hot water or steam with UV which I did plenty of times with a steam steriliser when opening it too soon. Would you recommend this to other parents?Sanitising - This will kill bacteria, removing them from surfaces that your baby may be touching like the table. Do I need to sterilise bottles after every wash? Space: How much room do you have for a steriliser? Can you stretch to a larger one that will sterilise several bottles at once? Or do you need a more compact product? Yes, and pretty amazingly too. They require no water, tablets, or drying, so are brilliant for sterilising your baby bits, fuss-free. And, if they are portable, they're great for sterilising dummies and bottles if you're out on the go. Once it's sterilised, your baby's bottles and equipment can be used immediately after too, with no cooling time necessary. How do UV sterilisers work?

If you wish to re-use the sponge filters, then rinse the sponge in warm water and leave to air dry. Dry-only: Choose from 30, 40 or 50 minutes drying cycle, depending on how many items you wish to dry. In storage mode the steriliser will sterilise and dry the product every 2 hours, until the steriliser is switched off with the power off button. Sterilising your baby's bottles and accessories is super important, and UV sterilisers can make life a lot easier. It can be a long and tedious task sterilising and one you'll need to do until your baby is one year old. There are lots of innovative sterilisers out there to help make this process easier. Use a clean, damp cloth to wipe clean the inner and outer walls of the steriliser. Don't forget the screen where dust may have accumulated

You can use a clean bottle brush to clean bottles(only use this brush for cleaning bottles). A small teat brush to clean the inside of teats. You can also turn teats inside out and then wash them in hot soapy water. Don't use salt to clean teats, as this can be dangerous for your baby. The sterilizer uses UV light which can cause damage to your eyes and skin. Please don’t stare at the light source. It is important that you sterilise anything that goes into your baby's mouth, to ensure that they remain safe. Sterilised bottles and teats especially will help protect them from infections that could make them unwell. This should be a part of your routine with your child for at least the first year. How do I clean bottles before I sterilise them? Where: Do you want something you can use while travelling? Or will you be using it at home with mains electricity?

Your baby's feeding equipment can also be put through the dishwasher to clean. Be aware that the dishwasher will clean but not sterilise. Ensure bottles, lids, and teats are facing downwards. What is the difference between sanitising and sterilising? Press this button to start a drying then sterilising cycle for 60 minutes in total, drying only first for 25 minutes then sterilising and drying for 35 minutes. Wash items you want to sterilise in warm soapy water, rinse and drain before placing in the steriliser. Don’t put dripping wet items into the steriliser, as water can gather at the base. If there is water at the base or leaking from the steriliser, please turn off the machine and wipe away water. Yes," says Malcolm. "UV sterilisers are safe for sterilising baby's equipment providing the instructions for correct use are followed, and the items to be sterilised are suitable."

Electric steam sterilisers: These clean your baby's bottles, dummies and breast pump by using steam to kill germs. This is plugged into the mains which turns into steam and sterilises the items inside. When in use, hot air is released from the sterilizer. Please keep your hands, face and other body parts away.
