Distilled from 100% Scottish barley, this heavily peated (137.3 phenol parts per million or ppm, to be exact) whisky is aged for five years in first-fill bourbon casks before finishing in fresh first-fill bourbon oak casks. The .1 edition of Octomore is always finished as such, while the other releases deviate to different cask types. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remainder of the Terms shall continue in full force and effect.

First released in 1997 as a limited edition, the 30 year old is a blend of malt and grain whiskies, all aged 30 years or more. It's an annual release, always in very limited quantities.
