Those have long since been worn out in the classroom. One feature that I liked most about their atlases was the inclusion of charts, maps, and graphs that represent sociological, climate, and world trends, as well as some essays on features of the people of Earth and their distribution around the globe. They do this very well. Standing as symbols of worship, testaments to kingships or even the strange and wonderful traditions of old and new, these curious places are not just extraordinary sights but reflections on man’s own relationship with the world around us.
