So many endearing and heartbreaking moments to remember by The Minotaur and the Pearl scenes! . The big ending reveal with Luke was kind of a letdown, but a very decent ending nonetheless. And hey, what book is perfect? It was so close though! A terrific beginning for one of my most beloved fantasy series ever. He took Percy, Grover, and Annabeth to the Underworld and demanded a pay raise from Hades.the real world & its relation to myths world, is very realistic, the way I can assume it is real & actually can be happening somewhere! his mortal spot to destroy Kronos and save Mount Olympus, dying heroically. The gods reward Percy and his friends and offer him immortality. Percy rejects the offer but instead requests for the gods to claim all their children and to have cabins for all the gods, including the minor ones. Rachel Elizabeth Dare becomes Apollo's next Oracle, breaking Hades' curse on the position, and recites the next Great Prophecy. The book finishes with Percy and Annabeth becoming a couple, and ominous clouds looming over Rachel's next Great Prophecy. The story is continued in sequel series The Heroes of Olympus and The Trials of Apollo. Gray Sisters - The Gray Sisters are children of Phorcys and Keto, and are old ladies who only share one eye. They have a taxi service in New York and drove Percy, Annabeth, and Tyson to Camp. They gave Percy he coordinates of the Sea of Monsters. Harry/Percy can talk to a certain animal because of his special gifts (Harry could talk to snakes, Percy can talk to horses). This is Dionysus AND HES LITERALLY PERFECT HE LOOKS CRAZY ALREADY AND THAT SCENE IN BROOKLYN 99 HES PERFECTION
