Since Alpaca is a natural fiber with variability, weights can fluctuate from lot to lot. The weight of the Women’s All-Paca Hoodie ranges from 8 - 12 ounces, depending on size. These garments are generally sized for a normal fit, and not a compression fit. If a more athletic fit is needed, you can go a size down.

Alpacas are abstemious and only eat what they need. They consume less than half the amount per day that sheep do and like other camels, they don't need to drink much either!

Forget recycled polyester, give your cashmere a break and try our alpaca knitwear instead. Use any normal detergent. Do not use “washing Soda”, Chlorine OR Peroxide bleaches, or “Oxygen Cleaners” The women’s cut is slightly shaped. The bust and hip measurements are roughly the same, and the waist is slightly narrower. Tumble dry your garment on low heat in a small load with other similar items - it will only take approximately 10-15 minutes to dry. Medium to high heat, or drying in large loads with jeans/towels is not recommended. Our fabrics are tested at various Southeastern USA testing labs that utilize standard ASTM Test Methods.

Alpacas eat very gently. While many grazing animals pull the grass up by the roots with their teeth, alpaca just nibble the tips, carefully leaving the roots intact so plants can regrow. Just imagine, a clothing fibre which is hypoallergenic, weightlessly warm, uniquely soft, biodegrable, recycable and extremely hardwearing (ie it doesn't pill and bobble) .... Alpacas tread lightly on this earth. They have dainty soft padded two toe feet unlike other grazing herds. This helps prevent them from trampling plants and eroding fragile hillside. Width measurements are made by laying the shirts/hoodies face-down flat on a table and measuring the width in inches from armpit to armpit. The bust measurement is the circumference around your torso, under your armpits. To find the size that will fit you best, we suggest to get one of your garments that fits you well, and measure it as described above, then choose the size that most closely matches.

You don’t need to wash this garment often. We recommend that you wear the shirts and/or Hoodies around 8 -10 times before washing so that they get broken-in to your body shape. Even if you are active and sweating in it, just hang it up. Alpaca does not retain odors and doesn’t support bacterial growth. Since it is an animal fiber, it is susceptible to moth damage, so you will want to store it so that moths can’t get to it just like you would with wool. However, washing will not harm your Hoodie. Alpaca wool does not contain lanolin and therefore needs much less processing than sheep’s wool. No harsh chemicals and very little water needed.
