Your shave will take a long time as the cutting system of the FOILFX02 is really basic (two micro-foils) and catching longer or flat-lying hairs will require a lot of passes. Tip: if you’re a barber, get the Andis ProFoil Plus Titanium (17200) instead of the regular ProFoil. It has a very grippy rubber sleeve and a handy charging stand and costs only slightly more. The pair of blades and the foil head of the BaBylissPRO FXFS2 will probably need to be changed more often compared to the ones of a typical foil shaver. While the Clipper may have a few areas of improvement, its unique features and consistent performance make it a valuable asset for professional barbers and those seeking a top-quality grooming tool at home.I am yet to use the Andis Resurge, so I cannot comment on that particular model. But the closeness should be very similar to the barber-style shavers, including the ProFoil and FX2. One advantage of the Resurge over those two is that it’s waterproof and can be rinsed with water, I really miss that when using any of the double foil shavers I have. But it is indeed more like a standard everyday shaver for the face and it even has a slit trimmer for longer hairs. In my opinion it won’t be ideal for skin fades, but it will work nevertheless.
