Woodwind instrument mouthpiece caps, ligatures and accessories are all essentials for playing a clarinet or saxophone. Different ligatures have a marked effect on the feel and tone of the instrument while a mouthpiece cap protects and preserves the reeds.

Each DooD is fully waterproof so can be washed frequently with warm soapy water, and comes supplied with two Nuvo resin reeds (can also be used with Eb Clarinet reeds), a durable case, fingering chart and clarinet style mouthpiece. jSax The jSax, has been designed for players who are more specifically interested in progressing onto the saxophone. Again, like the DooD, the jSax is a single reed instrument helping to build a players sound production, posture and basic fingerings. The jSax is supplied with a carry case, a fingering chart, and 2 plastic reeds. You can also use cane reeds for a more traditional playing feel. Some soprano saxophone mouthpiece will also fit the jSax, which allows a stepped progression towards saxophone playing. Euphoniums

The Dood uses the same mouthpiece and reed system as the Clarinéo. Two NUVO resin reeds a fingering chart and a case are included. Fully waterproof so can be washed frequently with warm soapy water. You may also want to try the synthetic reed by Légère which fits all NUVO instruments. The Dood is an educational version of the Clarinet. To succeed on this instruments, it is helpful if students practice 10-15 minutes every school day and essential that they treat the instrument with care! The reed in particular is fragile and if bent will make it impossible to play well. With the DooD, Nuvo has once again reinvented the rules and brought a new concept for woodwind music making to the market!
