O Benefactor; O Beautifier; O Bestower of grace; O Grantor of favors; O Gracious; One day Hazrat Hussain Radi ALLAHU Anhu and his father Hazrat ‘Ali Ibn Abi Talib Radi ALLAHU Anhu, after performing Hajj, caught sight of a paralyzed young man crying his eyes out in regret and remorse. Both of them approached him to console him and to find out the reason for his sorry plight. He was a hardcore and a habitual sinner always teased his father, disobeyed him and offended him. On hearing the sad tale, Hazrat Ali (as) was moved by pity and compassion and taught him the following prayer and said: "Perform the ablutions and recite this prayer tonight". He did so, and the effect was miraculous! Next morning when he came to my father, he was perfectly cured and carried the text of the prayer in his right hand and exclaimed, "Really this prayer is the 'Isme Azam' because when I lifted up my hands and read this dua several times, a deep sleep fell upon me and I dreamt that the Holy Prophet MOhamed (pbuh&hf) came and massaged my body with his own hands. When I woke up, I found that the illness had completely departed from me. May God reward thee, O Amir ul Momineen (as) for this miraculous prayer." In view of the above mentioned incident, this dua is called prayer of the paralytic.

and in the name of that which "If all the trees on earth were to become pens and all the seven seas ink, O Thou that answereth the prayers of the disconsolate in the depth of darkness; O Thou that wardeth off the baneful influences of calamities and diseases. Lo, those who surrounded the Kaaba sleep and wake up; But Thou, Exalted be thy Name, never sleepest. Forgive me by the Grace of Thy Bounty and Thy Mercy. O Though towards whom all creation bows down in this Sanctuaary! If Thy Mercy be not such as giveth hope to the transgressors, Then who is there to take pity on the sinners by His Bounty?" Verily Allah is the Honored, the Wise"; And I beseech Thee with the help of Thy Beautiful Names which Thou has praised in Thy Book, saying,:Unto Allah belong the beautiful names -- so call ye Him by Them; And Thou hast said "Call unto Me and I shall answer you; and Thou has said,

Then and there Imam Ali ibn abi Talib (as) wrote his du'a and gave it to him with instruction to recite after Isha salat. Next day fully cured, he came to Imam Ali and said that he had recited the du'a as told and went to sleep. He saw the Holy Prophet (pbuh) in the dream. The Holy Prophet, gently touched his body with his hand and asked him to remember this du'a as it contain ismi azam (the great name of Allah).Mercy and forgiveness of sins are the main advantages the almighty Allah makes available if this dua'a is recited regularly. Du’a Mashlool is extracted by Sayyid Ibn Tawus from an incidence of Hazrat Kaf-Ami and Muhaj Al-Da’awaat. He saw the Holy Prophet SallALLAHU ‘Alayhe Wasallam in his dream. The holy Prophet SallALLAHU ‘Alayhe Wasallam, gently touched his body with his lovely hands and asked him to remember this du’a as it has Ism-e-Azam which means The Great Names of ALLAH.

lo, I am near, and I grant the prayer of the supplicant when he asks anything of Me, so pray ye unto Me and believe in Me, that ye may be made perfect; Du’a Mashlool is also known as a Du’a which helps troubled and sinner. It helps the one who is in calamity, neediness and in severe pain and sorrows. Through the benfits of this Du’a Mashlool one can get rid of his entire diseases and sins Insha ALLAH. If someone is in need of ALLAH, through this Du’a Mashlool ALLAH will Insha ALLAH grant mercy on him and make things easy for him. O Thou most keen of hearing than the most keen of hearing; O Thou more keen of vision than the most perceiving;

The very next day the man cured and became healthy. He came to Hazrat ‘Ali Ibn Abi Talib Radi ALLAHU Anhu and said that he had recited the du’a as instructed and then he went to sleep. (Here the Devotee should pray for the fulfillment of his valid desires.) Agar koi shakhs du’a mashlool rozana insha ki namaz ke bad parhega. ALLAH uspar rehmaton ki barish nazil kar dega Insha ALLAH. Uski har kam mein barakah hogi. Bas ke wo jayaz aur usse kisi bhi makhlooq ko nuksan na ho.
