The Tramp is the main character in the CGI TV series Chaplin & Co. The show places the character in the 21st century and features him meeting up with numerous characters (one of them being a modern version of the Kid) while retaining the humor from Chaplin's original films. A vaudeville performer named Lew Bloom created a similar tramp character. Bloom argued he was "the first stage tramp in the business".
