Some hormonal contraceptives may change the effect of other medicines, such as the epilepsy treatment lamotrigine and the immunosuppressant drug ciclosporin.
Antibiotics ( Neomycin, Nystatin, Natamycin, Streptomycin, Polymyxin B, Paromomycin, Amphotericin B, Kanamycin, Vancomycin, Colistin, Rifaximin)The hard capsules are swallowed with sufficient liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water [200 ml]).
Adults take 1 hard capsule 4 times a day or 2 hard capsules 2 times a day (equivalent to 800 mg / day). The supply of fluids and salts (electrolytes) should be adjusted according to the intensity of the diarrhea, the age and the characteristics of the patient (e.g. accompanying illnesses). This is known as an interaction. If you become pregnant while taking hormonal contraception, it will not usually affect your health or that of your baby. But you should tell your GP if you think you may be pregnant.

The patient information leaflet that comes with medicines may advise that the medicine cannot be used with certain types of contraception.
