Having a large role, Sunny works in a special group alongside the band Rainbow Dream, feeling very excited to work with them. When they make their entrance however, they instantly begin arguing with each other, stressing her out. They try to work through this but hit a wall, with Sunny taking charge and getting everyone organized into roles. Now with the group more organized, they present their project, having put their hearts into it.

In a similar vein to Jade, Ruby was heavily reserved and put off by Amaya when she first came to Rainbow High, seeing her as Bella's replacement. Despite Amaya's best efforts to break through to her, Ruby initially wanted no part of her. Her opinion was mostly changed however when Amaya introduced her to the Color Change Chamber, which made Ruby realize Amaya's talents and skills she can truly bring to the group.

With such a large following, Violet's personality tends to revolve around her social media. She always has release forms on hand and her camera ready to capture any important moments. Even in high-stress situations, Violet can usually be seen recording or pondering how she can spin the moment for an episode of The Vi Life. While this can cause her to come off as insensitive or oblivious at times, it also makes her exceptionally friendly and charismatic. She also knows when to step down and allow someone else to tell their story, as seen when she lets Skyler and Ruby rehash the cheating drama with Colin on her vlog. Bella had a much duller, more rose gold color scheme within the first few episodes of the animated series. For an unknown reason, this was changed to a brighter, more pink color. Though they don't interact much, they seem to get along well together quite well. They are also apart of the same runway group. Willow is an uncommon surname that is derived from the willow tree, perhaps referencing the purple willow. Both Sunny and her sister Luna make a large appearance where they are both the models for both schools' projects, with Sunny talking to the Shadow High team about how to design Luna's outfit. As they do this, Luna tells Rainbow High all about Sunny's perfect outfit, with Violet helping as well. Near the end she models her new outfit, being in total love with it.

Violet also rooms with Ruby, although she has a rough relationship with her. Ruby and Violet seemed to get along at first, with Ruby being a fan. However, when Bella's expulsion video went viral, her and Jade were mad at Violet and posted a video of the Buddy Bubble Boogie. They eventually make it up to each other and are still good friends.
