About this deal

You can now pour the decanted gin into small bottles to give as gifts, or a larger bottle for storage, or even in an old-fashioned glass decanter. Simply just leave out the gin and add some more tonic water/blueberry syrup. It’s really that easy! In a Negroni the flavors clash and it tastes off. Paired with bitter savory complements such as dry vermouth in a Martini results in a similar affect. Though a lemon twist over Greenall’s Blueberry Gin served Churchill Martini style works surprisingly well. They make it using a special distilling process in these small-batch copper-pot stills. And when it comes to the bottle itself, they’ve gone all out with a super classy, sleek bottle and label design. If you're hosting a party, make the blueberry syrup ahead. This way you will have less work on the day of the party.

Simply just make your blueberry syrup ahead of time. Let it cool down completely, then store in the fridge for up to 5 days. Unlike many other flavoured gins, Greenall’s Blueberry Gin contains 0g sugar and no sweeteners. It is made with 100% natural ingredients. Real fruit, real flavour. You can definitely make the blueberry syrup ahead of time. However, I wouldn’t recommend making the whole drink if you’re not going to serve it immediately.Hey there! While Greenall’s Blueberry Gin is available in Europe at 37.5% ABV, this review is of the stateside version that comes in at a comparably robust 40% ABV. Tasting Notes Leave the bottle somewhere in plain sight so you don't forget about it as you need to give the mixture a shake every day for the first three weeks. Place a few tablespoons of sugar in a shallow dish (I used all-natural cane sugar) and 1 teaspoon of lemon or lime zest. Once ready, strain the gin (if necessary) through a muslin or water filter jug to get rid of any sediment. Serve over tonic and ice, garnished with a few blueberries and a mint leaf!

Granny B's Helpful Hint: Remember, if you are making 2 litres, double the ingredients, for 3 litres triple it etc.

Using a wedge of lemon or lime, rub around the rim of glass (and down the side if you want this look above), then roll the glass in the lemon sugar and turn upside down to rim the glass. First, you will want to make homemade Blueberry Syrup. It's easy to do and can be made ahead of time. For more details including how to store the syrup and other uses for leftover syrup, read the full blueberry simple syrup recipe. Ingredients: Ginger Beer| I used a delicious spicy, Ginger Beer (non-alcoholic), but you can also use regular Ginger Ale, Club Soda, Tonic Water, or sparkling water; it will alter the sweetness depending on what you decide to use. Pour the mixture through the muslin, which will catch the blueberries and other debris. The "purer" fluid will go through into the jug.Place a few tablespoons of sugar (I used all-natural cane sugar) and 1 teaspoon of lemon or lime zest. To start with, it's worth getting a demijohn, which is a very large glass container with a wide opening and a cork in the top. It means you can fit all the fruit and alcohol in it and you can also keep an eye on when the sugar is disintegrating and see clearly the change in colour of the liquid. Avoid pairing with amaro, wines, or savory, botanically complex ingredients. Overall, Greenall’s Blueberry Gin Flavorful Empress Gin | I used Empress Gin, an all-natural, gluten-free gin infused with 11 botanicals, including butterfly pea blossoms, giving it this gorgeous purple-blue color.
