About this deal

The “notes” (iris, verbena etc) are the same, but there is more clarity, depth, nuance, dynamics, and projection in the GIT. It is obviously a higher quality, and the notes resonate together in harmonic bliss. The CW version is unmoving and linear, while GIT will have you escape to another dimension; especially in the opening.

After approximately 30 minutes, the top note gracefully transitions to reveal the more delicate floral accents of violet and iris. The dry down, however, is the true highlight of this fragrance – a harmonious blend of musky and woody notes, courtesy of the ambergris and sandalwood. This captivating combination along with the heart notes captures the essence of rolling hills, crisp spring air, and the invigorating freshness of a gentle breeze. For those reviewers going on about how “The world has moved past this 80’s smell blablabla..It's dated...." Has the world moved on from Mozart? Bach? No, that's why it's "classical". After 7-8 hours, you start getting into to the dry down, now, here is where it starts to smell really close to davidoff cool water with approximately 80% similarity. When the fragrance is in the air there is almost no difference, however, if you dig your nose to where you sprayed it, you will smell the difference in the quality of the ingredients. Green Irish Tweed has more pronounced notes whilst david-off cool water's more blurry. (Like you watch a movie in 1080p-Green Irish Tweed and 360p-Davidoff Cool Water)Really not a fan of this. To me this smells a lot like a more refined cool water, which i also dont like, (and a&f first instinct with the ozonic accord). On the dry down it smells a bit more pleasant, very strong, almost nauseous (would not recommend for enclosed spaces), after about 3-4 hours it becomes bearable. What hasn’t been said already about this modern masterpiece from the mythical Pierre Bourdon? One of the most imitated scents of all time. Only Cool Water could ever hope to reach such a status. No clone, no matter how good it is, can put a finger on this fragrance. Lastly, if we talk about Cool Water Parfum, it’ll satisfy you in every way it can. The longevity is marvelous, and the projection level is beast mode. You can easily expect an entire day’s longevity from this fragrance. And people will love the way you smell. Compliment Factor It starts really grassy and harsh, it's really realistic grass though which makes it interesting again.

Masterpiece and I love it, the more it sits on my skin the better it gets. I wish it was a bit cheaper but I will keep buy it for me it is worth the extra money because I feel like a king when I have it on me. That people compare GIT to Cool Water is a big no, I mean there are minor similarities in the opening, but GIT just gets better and better in the dry-down.dihydromyrcenol. You can go into a “green” freshwater direction (GIT, Aspen) or a blue saltwater direction (Cool Water). I have smelled and tested almost all of them and GIT is by far the best smelling fragrance and it probably does contain good quality naturals too. According to my research it also really was the first fragrance of that style, created of course by pierre bourdon, don’t get fooled by creed. If you smell them side by side GIT even smells quite different than CW not just of higher quality, but make no mistake: that note of dihydromyrcenol is always there and will trigger peoples MEMORY of cool water even though they are not that similar if you smell them side by side and are a fraghead. But for the average Joe it will be cool water because of that memory association he has with its main component: dihydromyrcenol. GIT opens with fresh, aromatic green notes. I get violet leaf from the opening, with a lovely verbena note following. I have loved L'Occitane Verveine products for years, and the green-edged lemon effect that verbena gives is always a welcome addition to a scent for me. Lemon itself tends to be a difficult note for me, often astringent/cleaning-product-like/candied, so I find verbena to be a superior alternative. Here, it marries beautifully with the green violet.

Moreover, You can’t just simply deny the magical notes of Cool Water Parfum. So it all depends on you. The odd one is classic enough for him, there is no sweetness or gourmand... Just class with style, a cool green sharp smell... Clean and elegant..The opening of Creed's Green Irish Tweed is undeniably earthy, encapsulating the "Green" in its name. This fresh, crisp, and clean fragrance exudes an airy quality, as if you're inhaling the refreshing scents of a cool breeze on a verdant landscape. It's 8.15AM when I arrive at work, go to the mail room and find the box sat in my tray. I hurry outside eager to find out just what the hell I'd spent all this money on. I needn't have worried because, from that first spray I experienced a sort of moment of nirvana. I arrived at a place of understanding, a dawning realisation that even in the world of fragrance, there was a next level....and this was that next level. Every pound I'd spent blind was instantly justified and even rewarded with the sense that here was the best smell I had ever smelled! Pure class in a bottle. That's the only words needed to describe this fragrance. Every man should have this in their collection. I still love this but despite my always purchasing from an AD in Paris (these days), it doesn't seem to have the mileage or the sillage any longer and, given that even Cool Water doesn't really smell like Cool Water any longer, the two are no longer as close as once they were. It does have similarities with Davidoff Cool water ( Pierre Bourdon also created it), but the quality of the scent is better, Cool water is a bit synthetic and has the aquatic vibe, unlike the GIT.

I had sprayed this on my arm and I couldn't stop huffing it all evening, even lying in bed I was smelling my arm enveloped in nostalgia. By the morning the scent had weakened, but the DNA was still on my skin and it made me wake up happy. In my opinion, Cool Water Intense is better for everyday use. And it’s more versatile than Cool Water and Cool Water Parfum. Value For Money Cool Water will always try to make you feel refreshed, and people will love that energy a lot. Moreover, it’s more popular than those two. PDM: my favorite fragrance house - i can blind-buy anything from them at this point (Carlisle, Herod, Layton Exclusif, Haltane, Oajan are masterpieces) It's very pleasant and inoffensive, surly good for office and casual environments although I could see this being dressed up as it just smells "put together"So, If you’re looking to add a signature fresh cologne to your collection, Cool Water could be the one.
