About the range, Asda said: “We've always believed that to truly excel at something, you need to be passionate about it. And our passion is quality. Use a silicone mat . I love using silicone mats for oreo balls because they are easy to remove. Place your oreo truffles on a silicone mat to chill in the fridge before dipping. Then return the balls to the mat after you dipped them. Once the chocolate sets, they are easy to remove! Store any leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container since there is unbaked cream cheese inside of these. To top the cheesecakes I simply melted some dairy-free white chocolate and spread it over the top of the filling. Unlike milk or dark chocolate which you can add cream into to make a soft chocolate ganache, the white chocolate will set and go hard so it’s best to add this one 10 minutes before serving so it’s still soft.

Thank you for awesome recipes. I also made the chocolate covered marshmallow recipe you posted, AWESOME!! Its the first time I’ve ever made, or thought of making, homemade marshmallows and they turned out great. Thank you for simplifying recipes, they’re so easy to follow. ? Do I have to use candy melts? No! You can use regular melted chocolate chips. Ghirardelli is my favorite brand. To get the cream/yellow truffle look though you will need to use candy melts.Hi Stacey! Oh no, we’re sorry to hear that! We’ve found that dipping the truffles in the melted chocolate works well (we use two forks to cradle the truffle and toss it gently so it gets coated evenly, then lift it out of the chocolate with both forks), letting the excess chocolate drip off before we place it on the baking sheet. We hope this makes sense and that it helps you next time!

Easter is just six and a half weeks away and it’ll soon swing around. As well as being an important day in the religious calendar, it brings with it lots of fun, excitement and of course, chocolate. Step 3. While the oreo balls are chilling, place the almond bark or candy melts into a heat-safe bowl and melt in the microwave in 30-second intervals until smooth. Dip the Oreo balls into the melted chocolate using 2 forks and shake off the excess carefully. Easter is a holiday full of colorful and delicious treats! One sweet treat that many people enjoy during this time is Oreo Balls or Oreo Truffles. The best part is, it’s a Oreo balls no bake recipe! Which makes it super easy to make!Oreo cookie balls are one of my personal favorite desserts for special occasions. The base recipe I use is the same, and they are so easy to customize by changing the shape of the truffle, the toppings, and the color of the chocolate. Mint Chocolate Easter Egg Oreo Balls: To make Mint Chocolate Easter Egg Oreo Balls, add a few drops of peppermint extract to the mixture. This will give the Oreo Balls a refreshing mint flavor that is perfect for spring. Then you simply dip them in candy melts to coat them, let them cure and then decorate them some more with drizzled icing and sprinkles!

Lumo chimed in too, by writing: "Why would they just discontinue the egg n spoons like that. heartbroken." Savannah wrote: "NO DID THEY DISCONTINUE DAIRY MILK EGG N SPOON?"Create egg shapes. Use your fingers to create the small egg-shaped balls. Flatten the ball slightly. Then pinch the top of the ball into a rounded point. Gently pinch the bottom of the ball into a less rounded point (this will be the larger, bottom portion of the egg). Then pinch and shape the top and sides of each ball, refining your egg shape. Color the chocolate. Divide the melted chocolate into 4 even bowls. Add food coloring gel to three of the bowls and mix until you have the desired color. Melt the almond bark in a separate bowl, then either drizzle on the eggs with a fork or use a piping bag to pipe the chocolate on in your desired design.

Big thanks to Meg for the inspiration for this recipe. And if you attempt it yourselves, be sure to send me pictures. Would love to see your creations!

Plus, they’re really fun to decorate. The last time we did this as one of our Easter activities and the kids all helped decorate their own! I haven’t had a chance to make this recipe yet, but the ingredients are on my shopping list. They look fabulous and don’t require kitchen skills I don’t have :) If they come out messy, so be it, but I think my granddaughter and I will have a blast making these. And let’s be honest, these are going to be cute and look like eggs even if your egg shapes aren’t perfect. These will get eaten. Add Cream Cheese: Mix the cream cheese and cookie crumbs together in a bowl until well combined. You should easily be able to form balls.
