About this deal

When you roll doubles - the same number on both dice - you may, if you wish, use magic by invoking ONE of the powers below: Looking at Enchanted Forest you would think that it is a children’s game. The game feels like it was made for children but it can be enjoyed by adults as well. The game is really simple to learn since all there is to the game is remembering the locations of the items and rolling the dice. The game’s theme should appeal to children. Young children should have no trouble playing the game should enjoy it. Young children probably won’t be that good at the game though unless they have a good memory since a good memory is key to winning the game. For players experienced in the Exit series you might want to leave this one as it is on the easy side and some of the puzzles do have a familiar feeling. However I would recommend Exit: The Enchanted Forest for people new to the series or if you would like to introduce the concept to younger players (with parental guidance of course). The story will certainly keep everyone engaged and the puzzles are fairly simple although may require a bit of head scratching at times. Insert the 13 treasure tokens into the bottoms of the 13 trees, as illustrated on the paper sheet. Once pressed in place, the treasure tokens are to remain there permanently. A player can move to the first space beyond the stone bridge by the castle. If they are already past the stone bridge they can move straight to the key space and make a guess.

The Exit series of games come with a range of difficulty. The Enchanted Forest is weighted 2/5 (1/5 being easy, 5/5 being very hard). This is an ideal introduction to the series of Exit games, but this is far from being a walk in the woods! Please note that this is a one-time activity, also known as a ‘destructible game’. You might need to cut, fold and draw on some of the components… Roll both dice and advance your mover up to the number rolled. Your mover may not share a space with another player's mover, but you may move it past another mover, still counting that space. Enchanted Forest a classic game for a reason and I actually think part of that is the game’s simplicity. It’s easy for children to understand and work to beat the adults which is always a winner. It’s great for developing children’s memory and strategy skills. When they begin to see the long game and remember where all of the pieces are and how to get the most amount of treasure. It’s definitely a game that will stay in our game cupboard.

It's always an excellent service with brilliant products at a very competitive price - will use again!

It follows the HL playbook pretty well. One of the things I found funny at the time was how destructible everything is. It might have been a selling point, but when I see chunks of concrete missing... Moon reviewed Enchanted Forest for Games International magazine, and gave it 4 stars out of 5, and stated that " Enchanted Forest is an example of elegant simplicity. It is a must for a gamer's collection." [1] Awards [ edit ] It looks like there’s something else to add to your list, as we’ve just seen a brand new board game released that is sure to be fun for the entire family! In the game, players have to roll the dice to find all of Raya’s friends. After they’ve been found you need to race to the finish space to win their cards. The player with the most friends collected wins! One of the issues with some board games is that they are aimed at families with older children — this particular game, though, can be enjoyed by young kids, too, as it is designed for ages 6 and up!Each player chooses a mover and puts it near the star space in the village. This is the starting space for all the movers. Great online store for board games. They always arrive perfectly and undamaged which is important to me. The main difference between the two versions is how dice rolls are resolved, in the beginner version you can move any number of spaces up to the number shown on the two die. In the harder version you have to use both dice rolls. These are resolved independently so with one dice you can move one direction to that die’s full value and then the same or different direction with the second die’s value. Disgustipater wrote: I bought and played this tonight with 4 players. We took about 2 hours with 3 clue cards (6/10 star finish rating). We enjoyed it. I thought the final puzzle was stretching it a bit for what was required, but I guess now I know what to look out for in the future. If the two star difficulty tripped us up this much, I imagine the higher level ones are impossible for our feeble brains.
