About this deal

It's always an excellent service with brilliant products at a very competitive price - will use again! One great advantage of playing Monopoly on current machines is that you can play Monopoly against other players all over the world using the online modes. Given that this was some time ago, I think that it’s reasonable to assume that if you have an original Monopoly game at home that it would be worth even more than this! If you’re not too sure what version you have, take a look at my post – How Old is My Monopoly Game? Related Posts:

Did you know that the developers of South Park are board game nerds themselves? Take a peek at Kyle’s gaming shelf next episode and tell us which games you’ve played. The right answer could land you membership to either the exclusive Board Girls Gaming Club or the Dice Studz Group. In addition to themed Monopoly board games and Monopoly video games, there are also a raft of official Monopoly spin-off games on the market. Penguin-opoly– This clumsily-titled Monopoly rip-off swaps properties for penguins (for some reason). We’ll take a slight detour south for this one, as naturally, there’s only place that can stand in for the Monopoly board’s generic Electric Company. Battersea Power Station is currently undergoing a massive new development that’ll see the arrival of the Northern line, a beautiful rooftop garden, a scarcely believable sky pool, and even a glass lift in one of the chimneys. Watch it all unfold on a little visit here. 💗 WhitehallIn this part of town, Selfridges tends to hoover up punters like it’s got its own gravitational pull, but for those of you who are all shopped out, a wander up St Christopher’s Place provides plenty of places to take the weight off your feet. Try Hoppers if you’d like to pair that rest with a delicious Sri Lankan meal. 🚂 Liverpool Street Station So, then, how many different Monopoly games are there? Well, as you can see, the question doesn’t have a straightforward answer. Lots of British places have their own versions of Monopoly. These include not only big cities like Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow but counties like Cornwall, Lancashire and Yorkshire and even small towns like Maidstone, Oundle and East Grinstead. On one hand, there’s always a new Monopoly game to add to your collection, but you also know that your collection will never be complete!

Unless you’re heading to outer east London or south Essex, you’re probably not spending much time around Fenchurch Street station. Perhaps you should spend some time above it instead? Nearby rooftop garden The Garden at 120 offers lovely views over the city, and London’s stunning Sky Garden is a short walk away too. Best of all, they’re both free to visit! 💛 Leicester Square We’re dangerously close to Covent Garden here, so there’s no shortage of things to do. You can catch world-class performances at the Royal Opera House, dive into an avalanche of custard tarts at Santa Nata, or wander a street over for madcap dining at Sarastro or thoughtfully chosen wines from The 10 Cases. 🧡 Marlborough Street Do you include just board games and just official products, do you include all of the themed boards? Do you include spin-offs, video games, and unofficial Monopoly rip-offs? It’s simply impossible to put an accurate figure on it. The platform Fandom.com covers a great number of Monopoly board games released across the globe over the years, and it includes some discontinued games from many years ago. The number of Monopoly games on the list stands at 1,540 at the time of writing. Wikipedia The list above only includes the streets, not all of the squares on the board as there’s also stations, utilities, chance and community chest, the Go space, Free Parking, Go to Jail and Jail. For this reason, if you’re a Monopoly collector, it’s probably a good idea to limit your collection in some way. Perhaps ignore unofficial games that haven’t been sanctioned by Hasbro or Parker Brothers. Maybe you’ll focus on standard boards from across the globe? Maybe you’ll choose to collect Monopoly games themed on movies and TV shows? This makes it one of the rarest, if not the rarest, version of Monopoly in existence. Most of the copies remain with their original owners, but a few have found their way into the private collections of board game enthusiasts. Marylebone is well-placed for a dreamy wander around Regent’s Park, which, depending on the season, might be home to a gorgeous outdoor art show or a programme of spellbinding al fresco theatre. If neither of those is an option, ZSL London Zoo is a year-round option that works for all the family. 🧡 Bow Street Photo: @santanatauk
