About this deal

An accidental date brings together two instant enemies in this hilarious and steamy grumpy boss romance. Miles is a CEO of a company, and has gotten a hardened heart due to a previous experience with a vicious woman. He blames himself for the death of his mother, and is now dealing with a father suffering with Alzheimer’s. His life revolves around his business and his father. This story is the latest in the Seattle Suits Series and is another great addition to the series. Miles and Jenn’s story is fraught with disasters galore, numerous misunderstandings and some scorching hot scenes. In this book, we have a neighbor's spat. It's a CEO versus a girl who just inherited her grandmother's Bed and Breakfast in a small town. Said CEO makes a generous offer on the property, but girl doesn't want to sell. They butt heads. She ends up working for him because she needs the money for repairs. Some crazy stuff goes down. We find out there's more to our grumpy CEO than meets the eye. Okay, so it's actually a very standard trope for this type of book, but it was so good. And the end? Oh my gosh! I loved the end. I thought it was going to turn out that way when it started, but when my suspicions were confirmed was was bouncing up and down. It was really cute.

The language, the interaction between the characters, the regis rolls, Poe. It just seemed like the same thing over and over. Am I rating this 4 stars because it's objectively good? Or because I was specifically in the mood for an office romance and this hit each and every spot for me? We will never know. Jennifer is left the home that belonged to her grandmother when she passed away and because she understood her grandmother, she wanted to keep the home and get it fixed up to keep the Inn open for visitors! She just didn’t realize how much work it would take but was bound and determined not to sell, especially to the neighbor next-door! Nicole Snow is a Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author. She found her love of writing by hashing out love scenes on lunch breaks and plotting her great escape from boardrooms. Her work roared onto the indie romance scene in 2014 with her Grizzlies MC series.

Miles Cromwell, thirty-five, isn’t known for being warm and fuzzy. He has had a few women in his time, but he doesn’t see himself settling down. A recluse at heart, he prefers to spend his days alone, painting landscapes. It helps to calm and distract him from the ugly thoughts that often creep into his mind. As CEO of Cromwell-Narada Media, he cannot spend all of his time lying low at his Pinnacle Point home, much to his chagrin. His Seattle-based company is just a forty-minute flight away, and he lives there much of the year. Cromwell-Narada is a media giant and dominates the Pacific Northwest. Miles took over for his father years ago, and he works diligently to continue to grow the company and keep atop market trends. Unfortunately, his marketing department struggles to get out of the corporate mindset and isn’t keeping pace with new ideas in marketing, so getting traction in social media is an area that needs work.

One Bossy Proposal - L.M. Mountford

There are no triggers in this book, but it does mention the loss of loved ones, grief, mental illness, and recreational drugs. There are no explicit details on these topics, but I just wanted to mention these in case. I recently lost a grandparent and this book hit close to home for me. Not going to lie, I teared up in this book and some moments really gripped my heart strings that made me think of all my loved ones that have passed before me. How Jenn and Miles meet is a funny and somewhat embarrassing meet cute and the two of them have a insta-love hate moment. The attraction is there with the sparks are flying, but these two started off on the wrong foot, which only adds fuel to the fire as enemies. And when they start to work together, their enemy status slowly changes to something like friends to lovers. It’s only when a certain playing card enters, that makes Miles realize what he really wants and the caveman in him wants to mark his territory and claim her as his own. These two are hot and cold with one another and the games they play make things complicated and blur the lines and intentions. But once they give into that pull and their need for one another, the fireworks go off. There are steamy moments and smexy scenes that will get you all hot and bothered so have your fan ready. The word kitten definitely has a different meaning to me now after reading this book. find you a guy who'll step down as a ceo so he isn't spending all his time on work and make you "his first and last priority" — LINCOLN BURNS, YOU ARE SO???! This is book four in the Bossy Seattle Suits series about bossy billionaires and the quirky women they fall for. This series follows the Chicago-based Bad Chicago Bosses series. Though this Seattle series is somewhat similar, it does have a slightly different feel.To Jenn, Miles comes off as a pushy bossy HOT rich guy and that ignites her snarly side. These two are like two bulldogs constantly going after each other. Jenn goes toe to toe with Miles. She is the force of nature Miles needs in his life. He doesn’t communicate with people he just demands and never explains. In addition, he has been burned by a really bad relationship and suffers from guilt and the fear of being taken again. Miles doesn’t trust himself with the feelings he has for Jenn. We didn’t exactly hit it off when he showed up with an offer to buy my land and my hyperactive dogs yanked my robe open right in front of him. Lincoln Burns is the CEO of Haughty But Nice and is dubbed one of Seattle’s most eligible bachelors yet undateable and a cold hearted office grump. He has a past that haunts him and leaves him jaded on love and relationships.
