About this deal

After seeing this book FLOOD my timeline, I just knew I had to give this one a try and I’m so glad I did because One Percent of You was ✨SO HEARTWARMING✨. I was completely unprepared for how ADORABLE and SWEET this book was! Like moth drawn to a flame, I can’t resist a good single parent romance. So, thanks to all my beautiful GR friends that brought this book to my attention! 💖 also, Elijah was just perfect. loved how fast he got attached to em, how he’s always available, always there for em whenever they need him & how much time he dedicated for them voluntarily so, um, yeah. . . One Percent of You is one of those books that kinda hit me out of nowhere with its awesomeness. i went in expecting to like it, but i didn't really plan to review it. . . HA. HA. HA. Therefore, is the 5% of the number . Why don't you tally the answer and let us know in the comment section what you found? Conclusion Deep down, instead of princes, I thought maybe every woman wanted gentle monsters. Someone strong—scary enough to keep all the bad things away—and gentle only to those he loved.”

Like I said, Elijah was a Grade-A ASSHOLE. The unsolicited comments he made and the assumptions he had about Hadley was so unwarranted! BUT – that’s what made his redemption arc all the more special. Trust me, don't give up on him! Despite Elijah’s aversion to kids in the beginning, he was the perfect family man – so dependable and loyal. Don’t get me started on Hadley’s useless deadbeat-sperm-donor-ex… if anyone deserves to get chased by a chainsaw wielding psychopath, it’s him… 💀💀) There's no way in this world could a guy like Elijah fall for an innocent flower like Hadley. Nor less meet. Until Hadley's little blossom, Lucy calls him "chip-thief" and "demon-worshipper" in a grocery store. Not the best place or the most romantic scenery to find the love of your life. But....... There is more than one way to work out a percentage of an amount using a calculator: Convert the percentage to a decimal, then find the percentage of the amount. His cold, blunt observation of us doesn’t differ from any other stranger. He doesn’t know me, but he’s already painting a picture of who he thinks I am in his mind. He judges my very round belly, Lucy’s inability to leave him alone, the bags under my eyes, and the fact that I could not care less what I look like anymore.Single Parent trope has got to be a favourite of mine. When Elijah met Lucy in the grocery store. Ugh I never laughed so hard in my life. I actually did enjoy this book a lot and was going to give it 4 stars but there were 2 scenes that made me cringe. Aw little Lucy was the sweetest thing!! She's such a brave little girl and her love towards her momma had me tearing up! PDF / EPUB File Name: One_percent_of_you_-_Michelle_Gross.pdf, One_percent_of_you_-_Michelle_Gross.epub It was by chance I stumbled across this book and it was everything I needed after all the smut I've gorged on lately. One Percent of You was lovely. I mean if you need a book for your soul, here you go. A slow burn romance about new beginnings, a single mother, a grumpy not wannabe friend and a child not to be messed with.

Deep down, instead of princes, I thought maybe every woman wanted gentle monsters. Someone strong—scary enough to keep all the bad things away—and gently only to those he loved. THE COMMUNICATION IN THIS BOOK was unreal and great to read. Elijah was so honest and straightforward that it basically made miscommunications and misunderstandings impossible. It was nice reading about two adults actually talking through their feelings and issues One Percent of You” is a modern masterpiece, a powerful novel that can be read on its own. This novel is written by Michelle Gross. She is a true storyteller, and One Percent of You is her best book. It’s an epic tale of family, secrets, loss, marriage, betrayal, friendships, laughter, and regrets. One Percent of You is a heartfelt novel written with compassion and hope, reconciling the past to pave a road to happiness and second chances. The characters in this novel bring life and heart to this story, each with a distinct voice and personality. They made reader love them, they made reader sad, they made reader angry, they made reader laugh, they made reader cry, and they made reader believe in the promise of love and home.I found myself overwhelmed, perhaps, because Elijah was an earthquake of a man, but definitely not against the idea of maybe. Correction. Not maybe, just one day. One day he might live with us. One day he might be our real family. One day he might make me his wife. Elijah’s my one day.” Overall, One Percent of You was such a great read! I highly recommend this one if you’re in the mood for a heart-warming romance with a single-mom and asshole-ish hero (who totally redeems himself)! Trust me, this book had ALL THE FEELS. ✨ know what makes me happy?" i mumbled as we took our time walking down the steps. "what?" she blinked at me with sea-blue eyes like her mother's. "when you smile." and slowly, but surely, lucy did just that, gripping my hand tightly.” also lucy! i literally love her so much, definitely one of my favorite book children. it can be really easy for me to not like kids written in books but lucy… she was adorable. and her relationship with elijah!? so freaking cute. Obsessed is truly an understatement when it comes to One Percent of You. I loved every single thing about it. Elijah with Hadley and the kids was EVERYTHINGGGGG to me!

One Percent of You by Michelle Gross | Goodreads

Talk about reluctant friendships. Elijah can't figure out why he can't stay away from Hadley and her kids whilst Hadley is skittish. She's vulnerable and exhausted and can't figure out what his ploy is. Yet over time Elijah is making his presence known and he's not going anywhere but with them. What starts out as a strong dislike, slowly morphs into friendship, mutual respect, and. . . something more? Please,” she whispered as she closed her eyes. A tear slid down her cheek, and I caught it with my thumb. “Don’t hurt me. Most of all, don’t hurt Lucy because my little girl likes you, and I don’t want her to wonder why you’re not there one day like her dad.” “One day, baby, when we’re old and gray, I’m going to look over at you while we’re sitting on the porch and tell you how these tears were wasted.” She cried harder as she opened her eyes. “God bless… You’re serious!” “One hundred percent.” I cupped her cheeks in my hands. “That one percent of you… I want it.” Why??? Why TF did she fall for an immature piece of the male protagonist is a question of the century. He was such a rude, immature, shallow man - it pisses me off even to write about him. He judged her from the very beginning, the assumptions he had about her were not only rude, but low. I wonder what a reader, who gets government support, would say about this mean DNA-mistake of the male protagonist... and honestly kudos to author Michelle Gross for making ONE PERCENT OF YOU a slow-burn enemies-to-friends-to-lovers in the first place. More often than not, this particular trope (single mom // dad) will just. . . not have a slow-burn romance, and. . . I don't get it. This genre is rife with potential for a deliciously epic UST slow-burn romance. Thankfully, MICHELLE GROSS took advantage and crafted a wonderful romance that slowly but surely wormed its way into my heart. It was an almost drama free book, with a sweet romance. I’m not a fan of age-gap romance but this wasn’t a taboo one and since she had two kids, it didn’t feel like there was 8 year age difference between them. There are many formulas for percentage problems. You can think of the most basic as X/Y = P x 100. The formulas below are all mathematical variations of this formula. Did he think stupid shitty things when he first sees the heroine? Yes. Did he admit he was wrong and was an ass? Yes. Did I forgive him? Hell yes. Hadley and Elijah were so cute, and I think I liked it better because we got to see how they evolved and change when they met. But obviously, most of all, I loved Lucy, her sass and her personality, her dialogues weren’t believable for a 4/5 year old but still cute and peeerfect! She snorted. “Do you really think I didn’t notice the sign at your shop here? ‘Unsupervised offspring will be pawned’.”
