A small number of ear defenders will be available to borrow for the duration of the show. You will be able to take a pair after you enter the planetarium. Sign up to receive our monthly newsletter, with space news, latest tour of the night sky information, event details and important stories from the National Space Centre. This version of the show is more suitable for older children, adults or anyone who would benefit from a more in-depth look into the subject. If you have a wheelchair, we have spaces for you to sit with seats for your family and friends. The stairs have lights to make them easy to see. We've also got super 3D printed models and NASA's official tactile books. You can use them when you watch a show. Our fulldome film shows have subtitles and there's an induction loop. The planetarium was fantastic - a real asset to the area. The staff here were engaging, knowledgeable and fun. The presenter will describe everything before it happens, giving plenty of time for you to prepare for any changes in light levels, imagery or sounds. An entertaining and funny book exploring what we currently know about space - and how likely it is that we'll find alien life. This version of the show is more suitable for younger children or anyone who has very little knowledge of astronomy.
