Through the powers of the Phantom Ranger Keys, the Gokaigers can re-create and summon the Greater Power of any Super Sentai team in existence. In Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters vs. Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: The Movie, the Phantom Ranger Keys reproduced the greater power of the Go-Busters, which allowed their respective mechas to transform to other previous Super Sentai mechas through Megazord keys. Gai used his Megazord key to transform GoZyuJin into Daizyuzin.This is the first Super Sentai season to be explicitly set in its own universe, distinct from the main universe that the rest of Super Sentai is set in. Carranger likewise associates with constellations, but involved completely fictitious "car constellations", unique to their series and not associated with real constellations. Compared to the previous Super Sentai DX mecha toys, the DX MagiKing, aka Titan Megazord, is on par in complexity, articulations, and inventiveness, making it deserving of the king moniker. Although I didn’t find his design very compelling, he was very playable and had a good number of movable parts despite his complex sequences and mode, making him my second favorite. Each component seems so well made that MagiKIng might fool you into thinking this isn’t a combiner robot. The DX MagiPhoenix, the DX MagiGaruda, and the DX MagiTaurus all feature a fair amount of adjustable and moving parts. In contrast, his robot version sacrificed the DX MagiMermaid and DX MagiFairy for their articulations. A fantastic aspect of the DX MagiKing is that four parts can morph into a MagiDragon, with MagiPhoenix taking on the role of a dragon rider. In response to the fan disappointment of this decision, Bennett stated a concerning difficulty of developing stories for 12 individual Rangers. [8], which was ultimately mitigated by using original suits instead [9], logistically reducing the amount of location scouting need to accurately match Sentai footage, which often times the results were not perfect.
