This is a great cleaning speed from the S7 MaxV. We find it to be a good bit faster than many other high-end models in regards to cleaning speed, which is most likely a result of its navigational efficiency. Hi, I saw that they updated “Floor type” in the app. If I change an “wood hard floor” room into “carpet” room, will the S7 maxV only vacuum and raise the mop in that room? (Also, probably by disabeling the carpet detector?) So the S7 MaxV is great at navigating a room, but is it any good at vacuuming and mopping? The short answer is that it's fantastic. While the mopping attachment isn’t a full replacement for a dedicated mop, it is arguably the best version of any robot mop on the market. Being able to wash its own mopping pads and get clean water is incredibly convenient. It’s that next level convenience that really takes this mop attachment to the next level. Long Hair Test Note, too, that while the majority of robot vacuums that can claim to ‘mop’ hard floors simply slosh water around, the S7 MaxV is capable of scrubbing as well.
