About this deal

The RW Takeaway: The Triumph 19 is a mileage base builder, post-marathon recovery shoe, and workhorse trainer. Yes, Saucony’s softest shoe is also its most versatile. David: The Saucony Triumph 19 is my favorite Triumph so far. I do think the midfoot to forefoot transition could be cleaned up though. The heel to midfoot transition is very smooth, but then due to the break in the outsole the forefoot seems to slap more than I would like it to. The upper could probably shortened a tad to make it true to size. The upper material is thinner and covered with venting perforations making this shoe much more enjoyable to run in than past versions. Extra laces for added color The upper is no match as the T19 achieves a comfier fit with far less materials, and as a consequence, far more breathability, without any compromise on foot hold.

The step-in is so comfortable, as for every Saucony road shoe that I’ve owned (lots of Kinvaras, and a Mirage). Perhaps my feet go well with Saucony uppers, but some of my acquaintances have the same feeling: Saucony’s uppers are plush. I really feel like stepping in an old pair of slippers, comfy, cozy, plush without any excess of material. The T19 will handle more miles, more paces, and will be comfier. The fit is also better in the T19.While this will not be my first choice for a tempo day or workouts it will definitely find a place in my line up for those long easy cruises or when my tired legs are in need of some rescuing. Could it lose more weight? Sure, but it’s more manageable than past iterations, and even though it’s technically heavier than the Endorphin Shift 2 (10 ounces) we recently reviewed, it feels lighter thanks to its peppier midsole. Durability ok, grip great

Cut in half: Saucony Triumph 19 Review (2023) | RunRepeat

Renee: Again, Jermey and Jeff have all the specs covered. I found the midsole on the “soft” side with some bounce in the ride. I found the midsole comforting instead of mushy. I like the traditional ride (i.e. no Speedroll) when running off-pavement, so the midsole provides a good balance of usage for me. Saucony running shoes for women. Find the latest womens Saucony Peregrine, Kinvara, Ride, Triumph and many more. Fast delivery and great prices. The semi-gusseted tongue is nicely padded, without excess, and works well. There’s not much to say about it, it gets its job perfectly done. The padding of the tongue works in team with the laces, that are the stretchiest ones I’ve seen! Their rounded profile, their elasticity and the tongue padding result in a pressure free yet very secure foothold, no matter how tight you tie the laces. The Velocity is clearly biased towards the more dynamic side of the spectrum and is lighter by 1 oz, but I find that its heel EVA layer kind of mitigates the otherwise fantastic Nitro foam.
