About this deal

When people have trouble with true wireless audio, it’s usually related to Bluetooth pairing. If you can’t get Indy™ Wireless to pair to your phone or your earbuds are having trouble connecting to one another, here’s how you reset Indy™ Wireless to resolve pairing issues. Their main downside is that they do not support wireless charging , but Skullcandy has the Indy Fuel model, a replica of the Indy Evo but with wireless charging. If you are having problems or need to pair a second or subsequent device, put the earbuds into both ears, then hold your fingers to the sensors on both the left and right units at the same time for 6 seconds to enter pairing mode. Resetting your earbuds to resolve pairing issues

If you want the best true wireless earbuds for as little money as possible then take a look at the Nokia BH-205 Lite Earbuds - they might be basic but the sound quality is impressive, they’re completely waterproof and you get loads of battery life. That’s all for a fraction of the price of the Skullcandy Indy Evo. The Skullcandy Indy true wireless earbuds suffer from the same basic issues of a lot of Skullcandy products. This means that it’s difficult to make an initial connection, and it can be tough to connect both earphones. However, once you are connected, things are relatively stable. You will know they have paired with each other when they play a tone, and only the left earbud flashes red and blue. There’s also full media controls for each bud, so that you don’t have to remember whether you use your right or left to change the volume. The LEFT and RIGHT side earbud can be your main earbud, so either bud can be used in Solo Mode (one earbud listening).I am not an audiophile, so I can't give you a full breakdown on how they "actually" sound. Quality has been great for music and podcasts, so nothing to complain about here. Heavy on the mids, but range feels dynamic enough. Provides 3 preset EQs that can be accessed through a triple-tap (Music, Podcast, Movie). As mentioned above, the IP55 rating means that your earphones are dust, and sweat resistant. However, we wouldn’t recommend immersing these earphones in water. Other features are available too, such as Ambient mode, when you need to tune into the world around you. There’s also a selection of 3 EQ modes to choose from. When you pair your earbuds a second time or to a subsequent device put the headset units into both ears. Hold your fingers to the touch sensors on both the left and right units for 6 seconds. You will hear a voice prompt as well as a noticeable amplification of your surroundings to indicate Ambient Mode has been activated.

Your default EQ setting is 'Music Mode', optimized for bringing out the best sound in music as well great for general listening. There are three preset equaliser settings to choose between: music, movies and podcasts. As you can probably tell when to use each mode is very self-explanatory. You can only switch between them using the Tap, Tap, Tap, Hold touch control which is quite unreliable. You can turn off solo mode by taking the earbud out of the case. It will automatically reconnect to the other earbud, and you can continue using both of them. The Skullcandy Indy Evo will automatically enter pairing mode when used for the first time. Both earbuds will turn on automatically when removed from the case and the LEDs will glow blue as they sync. When pairing a voice will say “ Pairing” and the left earbud will begin flashing red/blue. The best cheap true wireless earbuds you can buy are the Cambridge Audio Melomania 1 Plus, they might be pricier than these but spending the extra cash will make the world of difference when it comes to sound quality. They’re not quite as secure as the Skullcandy Indy Evo, but you’re still getting a lot for your money. The Indy Evo have three different EQ modes but, after testing them all extensively, I found two of them to be pretty much redundant. MY GUESS, is that I am rolling onto the headphone in my sleep, throwing it through the pairing cycle mode, and this is disconnecting them. It has literally never happened while I have been awake/using the earbuds. First thing is to remove the earbuds from your device. Open your Bluetooth settings > remove “Indy Evo” from the paired devices list. Take out the earbuds from the case and wait a few seconds as they pair with each other. They will be blinking blue while they do this.
