the writing/descriptions about the characters both outside and inside the steamy scenes - it really allowed me to picture it on my own, not having obnoxious buzzwords to describe literally any action the characters are doing (i'm looking at you ' creamy'). i know that criticism seems petty, but it can make or break a story for me hehe LIKE COME ON. He should’ve shot a guy in front of her. I’d love to see Huang work through that scene. I feel like she took lots of easy routes to get through the problems.Her and Bridget are my favourites girls from the series and Stella's personality really shone in this book. I thought her story and character development was really good.

If not, that was unacceptable." = comedian christian but all jokes aside personally, aside from 3 instances (christian washing stella's hair, saying the line "you taste like mine" and keeping stella's ring for 5 years), i didn't feel like TL is a copy of TMO and take it from someone who inhales and adores danielle's writing, and have previously called out a different author who blatantly copied scenes from TSO. was it inspired? sure. plagiarised? no. quite frankly it's disrespectful to christiangianna if you keep comparing the two.Chapters 18 and 19 are arguably the most intense and temperature-raising ones in the whole novel. These are the ones where we witness the first sex scene between the lead characters and its aftermath (namely, the arrangement). The relationship/slowburn, were brilliantly orchestrated I loved every step they took from being neighbors with awkward encounters to agreeing to be in a fake-dating relationship that profited both of them, Stella needed a little boost to upgrade her game in the fashion influence world and Christian wanted a candy arm to exhibit at mundane events. They eventually acted on their mutual attraction because the tension between them was cristal clear, palpable throughout the book.😮‍💨
