The matt laminated finish gives the print a more smoother and subtle finish. It also creates muted colours as it can produce a lower contrast on darker tones. With zero shine it is better for artificially lit environments. Our foam signs are printed large format using eco-solvent inks. This inks offer greater colour depth, are water-proof and resistant to scratches. They also give off low odour which reduces the environmental impact of production. White 5mm Foam Board, also known as Kapa board or Foamcore board is made from lightweight extruded polystyrene foam with card and paper liners. Foam board can be cut using a good sharp blade (either Swann Morton or Stanley Knife). It's very important to use a sharp blade as a blunt blade will not create a clean cut and will leave a feathered edge.
