We were fortunate enough to try the new flavours and here's what our Senior Food & Drink writer, Melanie Giandzi, had to say on the new gins. To make it even easier, you could even cheat a little tiny bit and buy a ready-made pastry and just assemble the boozy mince filling - we won’t tell anyone! Mince pie fans will want to get their hands on the other new gin, inspired by the flavours of the classic Christmas treat. The limited-edition Mince Pie Gin is now available exclusively at B&M, and has an authentic, mince pie taste, Mel says. These deep and crumbly mince pies are so simple and delicious. The secret to Paul's mince pie recipe is to jazz up shop-bought mincemeat with a little extra fruit and zest. (No soggy bottoms, please.) The Whitley Neill limited-edition Mince Pie Gin, is now available exclusively at B&M and selected Greene King Pubs across the UK.

Upon opening, this gin instantly evokes the festive season with aromas of rich mince pies and a touch of citrus. On the end, the juniper delivers a hint of pine Christmas trees. The crimson fruits of a bountiful summer harvest are put to good use in this Christmas gin liqueur that’s made by resting our London Dry Gin over a layer of perfectly ripe plums for a full month. Whitley Neill doesn't shy away from fun flavoured gins (we've seen pink apricot, rhubarb and ginger, blood orange, and raspberry flavoured gins from them in the past), and the brand has just announced the launch of two new Christmas flavours as part of its already extensive collection. Christmas Puddings are traditionally made with 13 ingredients, to signify Jesus and his 12 disciples. And so, as advocates of tradition, we distil this Christmas gin with 13 festive botanicals including clove, cinnamon, cassia bark, orange and cherry. And while cooks would once have stirred a penny into each and every pudding, our copper stills ensure the end result is a sensationally smooth gin.
