The ending is open ended, so I have hopes that we will have another Nibbles book! With new adventures! New books! I can't wait. :D The book is riddled with holes here and there, holes through which Nibbles ate himself a way out. I loved that they were added it made the book so much more fun.

The illustrations in the book are beautiful and will delight both kids and adults. The age recommended in the version was 3 to 5 years, but kids from all ages will enjoy not only be told the story, but going through the way (holes) the character did in the books. Have fun. I did! 😉Compared to what we have on offer today, reading fairy tales is like using VHS tapes. Not worth the effort.

As is the case with many of my activities, my favorite part is hearing what the pre-k students come up with for answers! They are so cute, funny, and clever. As I reorganize my library shelves, I have come across a few gems that I bought on a trip to London and somehow shelved without reading them. What a treat this little cache has been this morning! It's Cedric's the little dragon's bedtime, but before he goes to sleep, there's just enough time for mum to read him a bedtime story.

I've read this book roughly 82 million times because it is a favorite in my house. We've actually had it for almost two years and despite having books overflowing our shelves and access to the entire county library full of books, this is one that keeps making it's way onto the "PLEASE READ THIS ONE MOMMY" list.
