About this deal
Based on consumer testing in Germany comparing leading One touch (Coffee + Milk) Full Automatic Espresso Machines (2018). The differences between the 2200 and 3200 Series are pretty small. So one specialty coffee more or less isn’t exactly a real selling point. Now the automatic LatteGo milk system versus a steam wand is the only distinction that makes sense to me. Setting Up Your Philips 3200 LatteGo: Grind Size, Volumes and Temperature What’s more, the ceramic flat burr grinder with 12 grind sizes definitely sets the Philips 3200 LatteGo apart from other machines — at least at this price point.
Convenient yes, but as we discovered during our Philips 3200 Series review, it comes at a price, both literally and figuratively. Read on to find out what we did and didn’t like. Philips 3200 Espresso Machine review: Price and availabilityAccessories: measuring scoop, Water hardness test strip, AquaClean filter, LatteGo storage lid, Grease tube
For us, it was well worth the trade off. We still love coffee and appreciate a well crafted coffee at that, but my god, when you have company over and can make 4 really nice cappuccinos in 2 minutes - it’s a thing of beauty. When brewing, depending on the size of your cup, the adjustable coffee spout raises or lowers to meet the height of your cup to reduce any chance of splatter. Set up and use Even more good news is the built-in water filter, which means less automatic descaling. Verdict on the Philips 3200 LatteGo Review: Simplicity Does a Body Good On the lowest setting, a single serving was about, while on the highest coffee setting, it dispended about 4 oz. on the low coffee setting, 5 oz. on the medium setting, and 6 oz. on the high setting, with the ability to manually program your desired beverage quantity. Editor's note: Unless you also adjust the brew strength accordingly, the same amount of coffee is used, meaning my 4 oz. cup tasted stronger than my 6 oz.
