SCCO adds a variety of new ingredients to the game that you can craft at home with cooking or buy while grocery shopping. These items can be used to craft cooking recipes. There are 7 swatches - these are my first textures so I plan on tweaking and adding more textures in the future!

Once you have bought the cookbook (there are 20 design covers to choose from!), you can simply place it in the kitchen counter or a table. You can then rename and add a description to further customize the cookbook. Sims can then whip up the recipes that are available in the cookbook, like how they would normally cook their homemade meals. This drink tray is AMAZING for hosting parties or having friends over for dinner at your sim’s house!I love stuff like this because not only does it all more cultural representation to the game, but it also makes a pretty useless part of the game (drinking water, lol) feel exciting and new. All SCCO Ingredients are 100% optional. NOTE: If you are using the EA Cottage Living “ Simple Living Lot Challenge” you must use all SCCO ingredients or use another SCCO compatible creators ingredient that uses the same tag, or type. With the Simple Living Lot Challenge active you must have all ingredients to create a dish. You will not be able to spend money to craft recipes. (You can only spend money to craft a missing “Any Ingredient” requirement with the lot challenge disabled.) Example, if you do not have SCCO chocolate (or compatible creators chocolate) installed you will not be able to fill the requirement for any recipes that call for “Any Chocolate”. I love custom recipes in sims 4! 🙌 This sims 4 cc appliance rice cooker adds a ton of new dishes for your sims to make. You can serve all kinds of drinks on this tray—coffee, tea, alcoholic (“juice”) beverages and more. It's not simply a cookbook, but an experience. Every recipe includes either helpful tips of little bits of lore from the franchise. While there are zany, whimsical recipes like gummy bear pancakes, there are also elegant, company-ready dishes, including lobster thermidor and the classic goopy carbonara. These are perfect to buy when your sims celebrate Valentine’s Day or an Anniversary or even a romantic proposal!

SCCO was made modular to not only allow users the ability to use the mod as they wish but to add the ability for more compatibility between other creators in the community. This is so entirely cute I can barely stand it. I didn't expect much, but as a Sims fanatic from Day One of Sims, I had to have this book even if it was a dud. To my huge surprise, it is not a dud, on any level. You fill find a “Shop For” menu on different items in the game, these are where you will find the grocery shopping menus. As someone who has been playing the Sims since its inception (Sims 1 - and yes, I just highlighted my age with a big yellow highlighter), this was more of a nostalgic read for me than anything. Perfect for sims who don’t like cooking (or for when someone in the household steals a slice before you put the candles on…. 😅 )Changed how the recipes will display ingredients for each portion of a recipe so you can now again view what is required for single/family/party servings. Another cc appliance that actually works! The pressure cooker Instant Pot food mod comes with some really great custom recipes to enjoy. The Sims has been a major part of my life for the past 20 years. I HAD to buy this cookbook and read it immediately. After finishing it, I'm left feeling slightly disappointed; though, I don't think that will be the case for everyone.
