Illuminae is the first audiobook I listened to and it made me fall in love with audiobooks. The reason for this is the full cast of narrators. I absolutely love that each character’s POV has its own narrator. It gives such a rounded and encapsulating story. Telekinesis: Generally considered to be fictional in-universe. However, Auri possesses it as part of her Trigger powers.

After the Ship Tease of the second book, Tyler and Saedii do indeed get together, birthing a daughter named Lae in at least one alternate timeline... and by the looks of it, the main timeline as well. Fantastic Naming Convention: Betraskan names are comprised of a given name, then two last names, the first denoting their immediate family and the second their clan, e.g. Finian de Karran de Seel and Danil de Verra de Stoy. In usual Jay and Amie style, they had me laughing and crying. There were a lot of tears, some happy some sad. Aime and Jay know how to bring out all my emotions. Never Got to Say Goodbye: Auri regrets the fact that her last conversation with her father was her telling him how upset she was with him.
