Edith leaves Downton with Marigold. Daisy fears the working class will be held down forever. Branson talks about going to Boston. Isobel announces her marriage at dinner. The war is over. Matthew’s legs are tingling. Lord Grantham kisses a maid. Bates may be implicated in the murder of his poisoned ex wife.

But he also has a deep respect and love for those he works with and the people he serves, especially Lady Mary – who he loves like a daughter. Episode length varies from episode to episode.
