So yeah, as you can tell — I bloody love it. In my opinion — and with price and performance in mind — this is hands down the best concealer for acne. Let me explain why this product deserves its cult status: Okay, I’ve rambled for long enough now — if you’ve got this far (props to you), you probably wanna see this thing in action. Shade 4 Extra Fair – For fair skin tones with a warm neutral undertone. [Previously named, 0, Extra Fair] Shade 6 Cashew– For light skin tones with a golden neutral undertone. [Previously named 1A Cool Fair] And the new version? In all honesty, the formula doesn’t seem to have changed (and I’m damn well pleased about it). It still covers redness instantly, neutralises my under eye circles and works its magic on even the angriest of spots!

But, even better, the new shade Beige (a light shade with a yellow undertone) seems to do the job in one step now. So, instead, I’ll probably use Fair to highlight and Buttermilk when I’ve got a tan. I bought Shade 5 Fair, Shade 10 Buttermilk and Shade 8 Beige. Before the new release, I had a routine of mixing Shade 5 (previously shade Fair) and Shade 10 (previously Warm Medium) together. It seemed to create the perfect yellowy-pale tone for my skin!

With that said, I personally don’t think makeup helped or hindered my acne. I tried going without it for three weeks (as an experiment) and my skin didn’t improve or get any worse. I’ve also never noticed any correlation between where I put this concealer and where I put spots — for example, I usually put some on my chin and between my eyebrows, but rarely get spots there. Collection claim that their Lasting Perfection Concealer is a ‘lightweight, second-skin matte concealer a smooth, crease-free soft base’ and I would say they’re being perfectly legit. No sales fluff here, gals and guys — this is the real deal! Shade 8 Beige - For light to medium skin tones with a yellow undertone. Previously named 1B, Warm Fair I love it so much, in fact, that I’d call it my single biggest makeup favourite of all time. If I could have one product to my name, it’d be this!

It’s definitely long-lasting, and I could easily go a whole day (say, 8 am to 8 pm) without touching up and still feeling content with the state of my face.
