About this deal

The variants in the RGBWW LED strip to involve introducing a different colour temperature of white LED light. The additional ‘W’ on the RGBWW acronym stands for warm white LED tapes, so is effectively adding another colour option to your LED lighting options. Warm white light is at the higher end of the Kelvin and produces a more orange and yellow tone. There are some variants on this lighting setup which adds both natural and cool whites to the red, green, blue LED strips. RGBW LED Tape & RGBWW LED Strip RGBW LED light has higher lighting efficiency because of the better light transmittance. Different from certain lighting absorption and blending of RGB LED, RGBW LED light reflects all the light without wasting, and therefore, increase lighting efficiency. In other words, RGBW LED light is capable of offering brighter light with the same energy consumption with RGB LED. Higher lighting efficiency is beneficial for better lighting effect, illuminating the object in a vivid color. RGBW LED lighting solution RGBW LED tape is becoming a more and more popular type of LED lighting strip. As well as the standard RGB bulbs being installed on the tape, there is additional white bulb installed on the same strip. These variants come as a 24v LED strip as they require and are able to handle a higher voltage than the 12v single colour counterparts. These 24v RGBW LED strips may take more energy to power, but they do have an increased and impressive effect. RGBWW – it’s similar to an RGBW strip light but with the addition of warm white. The only difference between the two is the saturation of the colour white. Because of the warm white chip, this strip can produce a softer yellowish-white glow. With some LED bulbs, it is not possible to enable the RGB leds at the same time as the white leds, or setting

With the additional white diode, you may think an RGB + W strip has a more complicated installation process than an RGB strip light. However, that’s not the case. The additional white LED colour does not make it more complex than an RGB strip. It’s practically the same process but with an extra wire for the white light. Just remember to get the correct controller and driver to ensure everything goes smoothly. Generally speaking, RGBW LED light is better than RGB. The addition of white LED chip contributes to better light quality, less energy consumption and higher lighting efficiency. It seems that RGB LED light is good enough for meeting the needs as colorful ornament lighting. But we should also take the effects to environment into account. Climate change is becoming more and more serious, why not choose a energy-saving RGBW LED to approach sustainable lighting way. Better light quality As well as these specific lengths of tape, you can always opt for a specific length of LEDs that exactly matches your requirement. If you have an exact size in mind and want to avoid the hassle of cutting the tapes yourself, we do the legwork for you! As part of our bespoke LED service we can provide you with pre-cut LED strips – just send us the specifications and various lengths of LED tape you require. We can also solder and mount the LEDs in a profile of your choice – you simply have to ask! Colour Changing LED Strips from ArcLED Alternatively, you can specify brightness in percent (a number between 0 and 100), where 0 means the light is off, 1 is the minimum brightness and 100 is the maximum brightness supported by the light. This magnificent RGB natural daylight LED strip light is available from our innovative NeoLED strip light range. Featuring a single COB, there is an amazing 560 LEDs per metre, which creates a beautiful continuous line of light.

What is RGBW LED light

Though RGBWW LED strips are able to access to a larger range of colours the best choice is really down to the installation. If the project only requires standard RGB colours with no need for pure warm white, RGB LED Strips are often more cost-effective. However, should the installation require a high-quality warm white then RGBWW is the better choice. When the RGB color mode is active, the white leds are turned off, and when the WHITE color mode is active, the RGB leds are turned off. Switching between these modes can be done from the Home Assistant interface, or by using Integer between 0 and 255 for how bright the light should be, where 0 means the light is off, 1 is the minimum brightness and 255 is the maximum brightness supported by the light. String with the name of one of the built-in profiles (relax, energize, concentrate, reading) or one of the custom profiles defined in light_profiles.csv in the current working directory. Light profiles define an xy color, brightness and a transition value (if no transition is desired, set to 0 or leave out the column entirely). If a profile is given, and a brightness is set, then the profile brightness will be overwritten.

Since RGB LED strip lights are becoming more prominent, a new version was launched, the RGB + W LED strips. This strip light has the same RGB LED chips but is added with a white LED diode for more colour diversity. If a light entity is in the on state, the default profile brightness will only be applied if it is called in the service call data attribute profile, like any other named profile. The transition attribute will be applied for all light.turn_on, light.toggle and light.turn_off service calls, unless specified otherwise in the service call data. Service light.turn_onAs mentioned before, a RGBW LED consists of red, green, blue and white LED chips. A wide range of colors are mixed by altering power on or off of the four basic LED chips. For example, if the red and green channels are opened at the same time while turning off the blue channel, LED will generate a yellow color. The mixture of red and green light creates yellow light that we perceive. You may be doubt that there are only several colors according to the forward lighting method, but how to create more colors? All of our LED tapes are made from commercial-grade materials which promise the best performance, light-quality and longevity. A selection of our LED lighting tapes is fitted with a new and innovative quad chip technology for an added extra feature to your RGBW LED tapes. We are pleased to say that all of our own LED tapes produce a CRI value of 90, which is a high ranking on the scale of visible light quality. All of the lighting chips used on the LED strips are A rated. Traditional RGB LEDs can only produce the light in lower brightness. As a result, a larger LED quantity is required to increase lighting brightness. However, adding more LEDs is not only increase the cost of manufacture, but also increase the energy consumption. In contrast, RGBW LED light produces the same brightness with less LED quantity requirement. Therefore, RGBW LED light is of less energy consumption compared to RGB in the same brightness. Less energy consumption means lower energy cost and save more electricity. Higher lighting efficiency RGB LEDs can produce white light by mixing the primary red, green and blue lights together in theory. But the mixture includes blending and diffusion of colors, creating factitious white light. This kind of white light seems to be covered with fog. The hazy light will cause discomfort visual experience to people. In contrast, RGBW LEDs are able to produce cleaner white light and lower saturate colorful light, providing comfortable visual experiences to our eyes. Further more, RGBW LED light is capable of producing a wider range of unique color shadings hue and more flexible in mixing colors due to the addition of white light LED. Less energy consumption RGB LED strips feature a 3 in 1 Red, Green and Blue diode giving users access to the full chromatic spectrum. This allows users to access a range of single colours to change the mood of a room using a compatible controller.

This is a more efficient way to achieve a white colour light from your LED lights. It can be possible for standard RGB LED lights to produce a white light, but this requires 3 bulbs being powered simultaneously. With the addition of an extra white bulb, you can achieve a white LED light by simply powering one type of bulb, rather than three. It's more efficient when considering power requirements and simply provides another lighting shade option when you have your LED strip RGBW lights up and working. RGBW LED light is named after the color of LED chips it contained. Standard RGBW LEDs consist of red, green, blue and white LED chips. It is similar to the manufacturing principle of RGB LEDs but with addition of white LED chip. Except for emitting red, green, blue, and white color, RGBW LED light is able to create a wide range of colors by mixing the lights of four chips together in different proportions. Moreover, large scale lighting color mixture brings better lighting effects and higher color rendering index. The color rendering index could be up to 95 in a optimized condition. RGBW LED light is used for the applications where need colorful and high quality lighting. It is mainly used as decoration for buildings and plants at night. How does RGBW LED work configuration variable is available that prevents the RGB leds and white leds from being turned on at the same
