About this deal

children's intelligence agency) growing up as a British Indian Girl :) so unique and innovative embedding coding and all things tech for the next generation. More importantly the feed back my friends daughter who doesn’t enjoy reading was she Loved it and finished reading it too. Anjan Sarkar studied illustration at Manchester Metropolitan University, then worked as a barista, barman, document scanner, online content developer, graphic designer and now, freelance illustrator. I would recommend this book to people who have read the previous book Mission Shark Bytes and for people who enjoy Agent Zaiba and Vi Spy.

Agent Asha: Mission Shark Bytes - Deen, Sophie 9781406382723: Agent Asha: Mission Shark Bytes - Deen, Sophie

We teach kids 21st-century skills using hi-tech spy stories, because not every kid wants to be a coder, but almost everyone wants to be a spy!

Most importantly, having a BIPOC female protagonist provides a welcome change to our expectations for the leads of STEM-focused literature, providing a new and fun role model in Asha allowing a wider group of children to see themselves in the literature they read. Your class must read the extract taken from the story and see which words can be combined to make a contraction. With masses of intriguing illustrations, plentiful humour, an interesting accompanying app, and a great protagonist (how fantastic to have a female Asian STEM hero), Mission Shark Bytes is a highly enjoyable novel that will help build the appeal of coding, STEM and critical thinking. Good fun, good to see a wonderfully inspiring female lead and fantastic that it encourages an interest in coding.

Agent Asha: Mission Shark Bytes eBook : Deen, Sophie, Sarkar

To be honest with you my favourite part was the bit when they went on the ferry I enjoyed this because there was a lot of drama in the scene and it was funny. The Agent Asha Gift Pack from Bright Little Labs, includes the Agent Asha book and a spy starter pack full of activities to help kids with coding, STEM and sneaking about. Bring learning to life with the immersive Children’s Spy Agency and the adventures of Agent Asha, who is on a mission to save the world. Asha’s a top coder and super spy so she should be able to face robot security parrots, navigate a suspicious internship and travel to Shelly's super-confidential base in Scotland to crack the case.Reluctant readers are more engaged when there are plenty of illustrations and the images here really bring the story to life in a way that is suitable for the target age group.
