The vinyl and initial CD releases have shortened fade-outs for many tracks, to reduce the running time of each side of the original LP version. Mostly the lyrics are very clever, brilliantly delivered by McPherson and accompanied by energetic music (which can get a bit repetitive after a few listens). Note to Sellers: These limited edition 'red vinyl' editions sold out almost instantly in 2013 and were re-pressed in black vinyl in 2014. It was released in 1982 and included Madness' biggest hits from their first three studio albums and the stand-alone singles.The songs are all pretty great and have stood the test of time very well , bringing back lots of memories . The original Australian version of the album, issued some months later than in the UK, replaces In the City with 13th UK single Driving in My Car. Everyone loved madness when i was at school and this classic collection of ska pop singles shows why they were a no 1 band . Matrix / Runout (Runout, side A, etched/stamped, variant 2): HIT - TV - 1 - A - 7 ARE YOU SITTING COMFORTABLY ? A great compilation of their earlier work, this is a band which I honestly only knew from "Our House" so it's a bit of a revelation to listen to a greatest hits album from before that song was released.
