Moose Roberts is a famous mountain climber who hails from Canada and works at the Mountain Activity Centre. Bella owns a field somewhere in the Pontypandy countryside, this is where she grows potates for her cafe presumably other vegetables are grown here too.
Fireman Sam is the brave archetypal fireman and protector, who remains composed in an emergency and unfailingly offers assistance to all those in need. It was interspersed with scenes of children learning about fire safety with Gary Lewis, the actor playing Fireman Sam in the stage show. The original series finished in 1994, and a new series that expanded the character cast commenced in 2003.
The interior of the Centre was first seen in The Pontypandyness Monster and again in Heroes of the Storm. Fireman Sam ( Welsh: Sam Tân) is an animated children's television series about a fireman named Sam, his fellow firefighters, and other residents in the fictional Welsh rural village of Pontypandy (a portmanteau of two real towns, Pontypridd and Tonypandy). Tom had his own theme in Series 5 whenever he takes off in Wallaby 1, however ever since Series 6, it has been absent. The station now has a sitting room, briefing room, control room, kitchen and dining room and there are two poles. In Series 5, Tom is generally a kind person, similar to most of the other characters and in Series 6, he is also shown to be a bit cocky and competitive, as seen in the episode, Sausages vs.

Gareth Griffiths is the father of Bronwyn, maternal grandfather of Sarah and James and Charlie's father-in-Law. Hydrus, built and previously owned by Moose is the amphibious rescue vehicle that can be used on land and on water but not the sea, it is driven by Fireman Sam. In the CGI series, there were two stations overall, one from 2008–14 and one from Heroes of the Storm onwards. to which Dilys replies, "Stands to reason, if they want intelligent lifeforms," while looking disapprovingly at Bella.They approached Mike Young, creator of SuperTed, in Barry, Wales, and asked him to further develop their concept. It goes from Pontypandy Station to the mountain activity centre owned by Canadian hiker Moose Roberts. The theme song was performed by Mal Pope in a classic rock style from 1987 to 1994, then by a different singer, Cameron Stewart, in a 2000s alternative rock style since the 2003 new episode broadcasts. It is used in occasional mountain emergencies and is driven by Tom Thomas, Fireman Sam and Firefighter Penny Morris. However, the characters of Tom Thomas, Moose Roberts and Bella Lasagna have their regular, respective Australian, Canadian and Italian voices (instead of being dubbed with a US voice actor), due to their characters' accents.
Sarah and James Jones are the relatively well-behaved six-year-old twins of Charlie and Bronwyn, niece and nephew of Fireman Sam. Charlie Jones is a fisherman, Bronwyn's husband, Fireman Sam's brother and father of Sarah and James. The idea was then brought to S4C's Director of Animation, Chris Grace, who had previously commissioned SuperTed, saw potential in the idea and commissioned the series.For the 2005 series, there was still only 1 vehicle bay, but had been revamped so Venus had a room at the back of the station. He mostly wears them when he's in his helicopter, but the Series 6 episode Cat Magic was where he wore them whilst driving his 4x4. In Snap and Spot, it was revealed that Tom is a best friend of Krystyna Kaminski, when they were cadets and received their pilot qualifications a while ago and Krystyna also stated that it was not the first time she had pulled Tom off the side of the cliff. Wallaby 2 is based on a Westland WS-61 Sea King, a British licence-built version of the American Sikorsky S-61 helicopter of the same name, built by Westland Helicopters. She only visited occasionally (hailing from Newtown fire station), and in the new series, she works at Pontypandy fire station full-time.
