About this deal

This brings you all the goodness of our Junior edition adapted for you to enjoy with the 3 to 6 year old in your life. So if you're wondering if this book is right for your child, it's right for EVERY child, regardless of how their mental wellbeing is. She does hers every evening, we do it together, i copy the quote into my journal, do the 3 best things, answer the questions, draw the emojis.

Fast- forward to summer 2018 and the journal is going to print having been tested with dozens of children, aged 6 to 12. Please be patient if your parcel hasn't arrived yet and leave enough time before getting in touch with us. We have deliberately left things flexible so you can make the journal your own, with plenty of space for a shared writing, drawing and colouring experience.

He is suddenly a lot more confident, his teacher noticed a big difference in him, participating and sharing his ideas in class. She has been telling me all about her day all of a sudden, and we have been working on naming feelings. I never thought about asking about his feelings as thought he was too young but I was wrong as when we fill in each section, he has so much to say! I also really want him to develop a growth mindset and be a kind person (this is way more important to me than him being good at maths or science). Beautifully illustrated and easy to use, with just a few minutes focus each day, children benefit by being encouraged to express gratitude, reflect on their emotions and think about their actions.

We have ‘switch-off-weekends’, share our ‘top three things’ at the dinner table and my daughter started journaling as she saw me do it every day. We are still noticing some disruption to postal services in the UK and aboard due to increased volumes and challenging working conditions with staff shortages and the movement of goods around the carrier networks taking longer than expected. Happier’, ‘more mindful’, ‘more grounded’ and ‘less stressed’ - these are the words most often used by the teens who tested our journals. I hope this journal becomes a beautiful way of exploring feelings, memories, kindness and gratitude as well as capturing what life is like for you and your child at this moment in time. When testing the kids preferred this length and a longer book would have been too bulky or heavy for small hands. Children are encouraged to fill out their journal every day but as the pages aren't dated it is possible to do it at your own rhythm and easy to keep going should you miss a day. Depending on your child’s reading and writing abilities they may need some guidance at the younger end of the scale. Beautifully illustrated and easy to use, you will discover how to express gratitude and reflect on your emotions. It follows the same daily journaling format but with a slightly more grown-up feel (ie without our family of characters).

Our beautifully crafted journals bring a calm and safe space to your day and just a few minutes of quite reflection is all that’s needed to feel the benefits that journaling brings. All waste paper used during production is recycled, and we use land and sea transportation wherever possible. Many of my clients, myself included, were working on improving their habits and mindsets to achieve balanced, happy lives with better mental health, wellbeing, mindfulness, focus and improved productivity. Please note that we cannot send out more than three journals outside of the UK as courier costs fluctuate too much at the moment. Spend just a few minutes a day with our beautifully designed pages to express gratitude, reflect on the emotions of the day and think about your actions. The journal pages have been designed to have little writing and there is plenty of space for different handwriting styles or drawing. Michelle Mum to a 10 year old boy Artboard 64 I recently started this book with my 10 year old son and it is wonderful. The reason I bought it though is that I want him to stay like that and try to prevent any chance of him suffering from mental health conditions in the future. We launched the Grown-Up edition so you could become the ultimate role model for positive habits by journaling alongside your little ones (clue: it starts with you), or simply by taking a few mindful moments for yourself each day.

This is the boy who was born independent, who is very loving but not remotely tactile and who declares his love on paper, not in person. So from my family to yours I hope this journal gives your children the foundations for a happy and balanced life. Beautifully illustrated and easy to use, with just a few minutes each day, children benefit by being encouraged to express gratitude, reflect on their emotions and think about their actions. We complete it at bedtime each night, and it’s a great conversation starter for him to talk about his day, how he’s feeling and what he’s proud of. This journal also has three months of daily pages and a section at the front that can be filled out any time.

I wanted to give both kids a simple journal but couldn’t find what I wanted, so set out to make something that incorporates all those habits that science has shown to help us lead happier lives and encourage a growth mindset. I’ve completed an online course at the University of California, Berkeley to delve deep into published papers underpinning the science of happiness; looked at how schools are introducing the growth mindset concept; spoken to experts in child psychology and education as well as numerous parents and teachers. I witnessed the impact of daily journaling, reduced screen-time, mindfulness and gratitude practice on my wellbeing and how simple changes to our home life made a big difference to the kids.
