The Aux input is a 'bit of whatever', I can't see myself using it and they also dropped it on the Dark model. This is a true Orange Amp classic, with masses of vintage British character, clean crunch and full-on overdrive sounds. Contemporary practice amps have never really had much cool factor—at least since solid-state became the standard at the affordable end of the spectrum.

Highly portable and compact, this mini tube amp is a true Orange classic, with vitnage British character from clean crunch to massive overdrive tones. jack means you can plug in any phone or audio player and jam along, making this a great amplifier to practise with. They were there for us during our formative years as we learned the tricks of the trade, but every time you thought of your hero standing in front of a full stack that little 1x8 solid-state combo was sort of a letdown. No manual in the box (really surprizing) no warning not to plug into the cab with an instrument lead, no instruction how to replace a valve. The sounds seems more rounded and complete somehow, so I recommend running it with two 8'' speakers if you can to get the perfect Orange sound. We advise you to update to a currently supported browser (such as Chrome, Edge, or Firefox) to improve your security, speed, and overall experience. I play it mainly through a Seymour Duncan Stag Mag neck pickup and can honestly say that even though some people say this amp doesn't work well with single coils, it does!Great amp, sounds amazing, just a shame it’s not brand new, as advertised, looks slightly ex demo, otherwise it would be 5 stars. I was split between this and the Micro Dark, but I wanted more volume before breaking and entering into distortion territory.
