Not quite what I expected but very well written and eye opening to see how person, no matter how strong they are, can get caught in an abusive relationship.

Suzie's story is one of contrasts from living in typical market town in Oxfordshire, England with its temperate weather to moving to rural Colorado, USA, with it blazing Summers and whiteout Winters. She has always seemed like a dedicated and warm person but this book showed her to be a free spirit and with lots of optimism, grit and determination to survive and make the very best she can of her life. For someone who is not very social and has anxiety whenever I have to talk to another human, the mountains are the perfect place to get away from all of that and be the most relaxed. When the sun slowly peeps over the range of mountains, birds shake the morning dew off their feathers and give a cheerful song that would lift even the most sorrowful of spirits.I realize that could just be a TV persona; but I also think they were selected to be on the show because they had a personality they could project to the cameras and the viewers, so I don't feel too silly actually liking these people. A very interesting read thank you Suzie although at times tears were shed and I could feel the pain you went through, but also the joyful times you had with Rob. You could understand her struggles of being in an abusive relationship without it being the main focus of the story. As we walked around ten miles up and over the mountain, I took many breaks to catch my breath and take in the majestic scenery.

But while she tends to be the one repairing and offering a gentle kindness to others, Suzie has also been in a process of change, reflection, and healing.Sammy is overwhelmed when he finds his Dad was poisoned by a local business owner, Victor Harbor, who was trying to take over his local enterprises! A self-confessed free spirit with a deep connection to nature, Suzie’s exceptional warmth and zest for life shine through on every page, making The Sun Over the Mountains a truly inspiring read that will resonate with anyone who has faced uncertainty but has the courage and power within them to overcome it. Boehm's outstanding descriptive storylines successfully depicts realistic adventures that immediately touches anyone's heartstrings as Sammy begins overcoming his alcohol problem, after getting information his Dad was murdered! I have to recommend a place, this place is not only mountains and rivers ,but also the scenery is pleasant,At the same time，there are abundant products. The revelation that his long dead father may have been murdered by poisoning sets in motion a confrontation with his family’s old enemies.

A good and thoroughly enjoying story of a man who lost his way and the friends who helped him fInd his way back from the bottle. We'll hear for the first time, how Suzie has overcome some of life's most difficult challenges, from complicated relationships to grief. Attention; to all serious readers of Western Action fiction with more than a pinch of romance sprinkled in.

It’s hard to pick a specific area of Vermont that has the deepest connection with me, almost every spot I visit sparks a sense of wonder within me. There is ongoing escapades that definitely maintains your undivided attention from beginning to end. One Christmas after watching "A Christmas Carol", he was inspired to begin his journey as a novelist. I guess because of the untimely and tragic accident and death of Eric Fleming so soon after the series ended. Between that, and how much work it was for her to care for him till he died, it's a tremendous relief when he's finally dead!
