However this actually made the book better as I could picture myself on that cruise with my friends. This really was the loveliest read, my favourite from the author so far, and I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to all – perhaps slathered in sun cream, with a cocktail in hand, reggae music playing in the background, but just as thoroughly enjoyable on a rainy afternoon in Yorkshire. I'm hoping Caroline will turn this into a cruise series as I would love to disappear back onto the ocean with her again. Anne is on the cruise to do some husband hunting and catches the eye of dastardly Dickie, Dick by name, Dick by nature! Each finds what they were looking for and more on their cruise, and I really enjoyed their discovery of themselves and friendship that never dies.
