About this deal

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

Authors, if you are a member of the Goodreads Author Program, you can edit information about your own books. This is a steamy serial killer romance that will take you on a journey through the twisted mind of an artist on the brink of madness. It was written brilliantly and the story line was great I think I just wanted a bit more on the characters. Thank god this wasn't just a Standalone because one book is just not enough for a serial killer and a woman he is fixated on. Two rival serial killers that have combined their love of the hunt with their artistic expression engaged in a captivating game of cat and mouse, a murderous one-upping feud. The Goodreads Libra Goodreads Librarians are volunteers who help ensure the accuracy of information about books and authors in the Goodreads' catalog. This is the kind of book that reminds me what I love reading- how words can be art, can challenge our hearts and minds. And we are so wrapped in his mind- we can both recognize psychological “otherness,” and it makes him all the more endearing. There were spicy scenes but not as much as I would’ve thought and would’ve liked tbh i was a little disappointed with that. Both respected artists, both rich and powerful, one more base and primitive in his antics, the other more strategic and manipulative.

This was an unpredictable thrill ride and takes us on a WILD journey that you won't be able to forget, ever. Going into this duet, I didn't know what to expect but, man, she rocked my world with There Are No Saints. There’s nothing like that- because Sophie Lark is going to make you delirious attracted to a cold, ruthless serial killer. And Sophie connects us to him as a character first intellectually, then entirely emotionally- a really brilliant way of evolving a character arc simply by the narrative duality to his point of view. Listeners be warned: this audiobook contains extremely dark themes that might be triggering to some. He exudes this Ted Bundy-esque detached charm- a charismatic sophistication paired with a compelling raw magnetism.

If you're a Librarian and want to process requests, please refer to our Librarian Manual to ensure edits are performed in line with Goodreads policies. There Are Not Saints is one of the most interesting stories I’ve read in a while- a story of brilliant contrasts, one existentially bold and expertly told. The plot is good and is addicting because it’s like you need to see what happens and even tho I guessed a little of it, it still surprised me. Redeeming a character who starts so evil was a challenge that inspired me to entirely new heights and entirely new depths.
