About this deal

I had an Oopsie Daisy Doll when I was growing up and I loved her she was my favorite and my cousin came from out of town to visit and she put her in the tub.

He also had a wee in her jewellery box but that was nothing compared to her beloved Oopsie Daisy doll being broke. I had one too, but I remember it had a red outfit, and didn't have a binki, and mine you could adjust the doll upright and hold it's hands and it could walk like a baby taking it's first steps. Every year at Christmas I think of that Oopsy Daisy Doll that I wanted so much in 1988 and never recieved! Teletubbies also courted controversy for Ragdoll productions with educationalists criticising the programme for encouraging young children to mimic the infantile sounds of its characters. A spokesman said: "The findings showed most consumers were happy with the toys but a number of people wanted the Upsy Daisy doll to have a darker face colour to more closely represent how she appears in the live-action element of the TV show. She still works and i found her in the loft not played with her since i was 9 i think, but i am going to keep her for life! She loves nothing more than to dance through the garden and often convinces other character to join in. I was a bit worried that Esther might not recognise her and so I quickly got her changed into her more familiar daytime clothes. In 1989, Irwin relaunched the doll in a smaller version, about 17", but the fad was long over by the time Christmas rolled around for 1989. The doll could not sit, could not be laid down, it was a nightmare to try to change her clothes, all she could do was crawl, fall and cry over and over again.

While Upsy Daisy has darker tones than some of the other characters on-screen, she is no more intended to represent a specific race or culture than Igglepiggle or the Tombliboos are. I still have her and except for her clothes being a bit dirty she looks brand new, she has all her limbs, thankfully! I have the oopsie daisy doll because a lady had a car full of old babies and daisy was in her collection. But as a kid I never understood why my mom wouldn't let me play with her for longer than 30 minutes. i remember my dad looking at my mom the first time he heard the doll 'cry'-he said "no, THAT'S not annoying in the least!

anyhow he used to sing this song to me (again to the tune of pop goes the weasel) Oopsie daisy's not ready to crawl she's such a stupid baby, she falls down the stairs and nobody cares. true story believe it or not i had when when i was about 7 or 8 it did not have batteries in it at the time and it started moving in my hands on its on weird i know i will never forget that scary i wonder was it possessed.

The following weekend I went over to my aunts house and there was my doll tore into pieces my cousin stoll it and destroyed it . I think it was left in my playhouse and was then tossed away when I as a teenager wanted to paint the old playhouse black and create a ghost house feel in it. We had bought the Oopsie Daisy and we have on video the doll crawling across the kitchen with her head dropped to her shoulders. when i was a little girl im only 22 now this was my first movable doll i went over to my dads house for the weekend when i came back my doll was gone.

We’ve shown him to Maël when he was being difficult to feed and now his face lights up when he sees Upsy Daisy and she starts singing.Esther loves cuddling PJ Upsy Daisy but at just one I feel that keeping her in her daywear and playing with her in the lounge is a better use than playing bedtime routines. One of her favourite things is her bed, which has a mind of its own and can often be seen chasing her around the garden. She didn't expect the doll to slip, fall, and cry, so she began to cry because she thought her "baby" was hurt.
