The scent brought me back to the original Black XS by Paco Rabanne when it was a monster how strong it was.

it all comes down to whether you're going get lucky with the batch since the smell is great regardless of how close to Aventus it is. I have also tried a full sample of the real Aventus (2019/20) and it also felt 'flat' and boring to my nose. I love the scent so hopefully, if I allow it to macerate the performance will get better but in all honesty, I have very little hope. The base notes of Musk, Amber, and Patchouli create a warm and sensual trail that lingers on the skin.Again, not too much and its dry down is a very nice lightly smoked citrusy aroma and carries a very masculine tone. CDNIM has gotten me more compliments than any other fragrance I've worn, and yesterday L'A got a me a few (but those were solicited).If You gave this one this slight soft pineapple note from Explorer or straight from Aventus it would create exact copy of Aventus for my nose. For me the supremacy silver is the closest and highest quality, then CDNIM and then the Al Haramain L'aventure the original, then this one is the last in terms of quality, performance and closeness to creed. Al Haramain L'Aventure Intense for Man is a captivating fragrance that exudes masculinity and adventure. Hope Al-Haramain doesn't/stops reformulating their fragrances, because I experienced some differences between batches, especially with L'Adventure Blanche (the Silver Mountain Water clone).

Well, CDNI has way more smoke, and if clones don’t have pineapple in the opening in my opinion, it’s not a true clone of CA. In my opinion, it is much closer to MODERN batches of aventus than CDNIM, but pre-2016 batches are a totally different story.
