Calibration: Some Govee smart lighting, such as the TV or gaming syncing products, requires a calibration process to work properly. I could pair it through Apple Home, but it showed offline in the Google Home app, and I couldn’t control it, despite repeated attempts at setting it up.Everything worked smoothly after I factory reset the strip and set it up again on all the same platforms. Connect hotspot in your phone to the strip lights and check whether the router works with the strip lights. I then used the Apple Home app to pair the light strip with a different motion sensor at the top of the staircase to turn on the lights when I walk down the stairs.
The RGBWW warm white LED strip lights offer more intensive yet comfortable white lights than RGBW LED strips. I did have to use an Android phone to set it up as the Google Home iOS app still doesn’t support Matter (despite Google saying it would with iOS16. There’s GOVEE LED strip lights, along with wall lights, floor lamps and hexagonal light panels, with some offering TV immersion with the lighting. If you want to cycle through different effects, tap on Auto-Play, specify how it should change, and create a list of effects to cycle through.We recommend installing it and creating an account before you install your new lighting, but beware: It is messy and confusing, and you will need time to get your head around it. Use our eye-catching RGB and RGBIC effects to make the colors pop out of any TV screen, diving deeper into your entertainment like never before. This worked nicely, but while the light is crisp and clear, it struggles slightly with the warmer tones. I installed the M1 light strip on a dark staircase in the center of my home, where it adds ambient lighting and makes using the stairs at night a bit safer.
